Poor Stay

We had a thoroughly disappointing staycation experience here. Upon arrival, we were greeted by closed gates and had to wait for half an hour. The staff's unwelcoming attitude set the tone for our stay. At the reception, we were met with uninformed staff who seemed clueless, leaving us waiting another 30 minutes for room allocation. Exhausted, we planned to leave early the next morning for Bangalore, but our sleep was disrupted due to the delays. To make matters worse, the breakfast experience was a letdown. Despite being told it would be ready at 7 am, we found only bread available at 7:30 am. Overall, our stay was marred by poor service, miscommunication, and unfulfilled expectations.

the resort leaves a average impression with mis managed managent and staff . place and location is great but service maintenance and staff knowledge leaves us much wish they knew for eg rainy season their only omni van instead of a broken buggy to was manytimes Unavailable as it was running errands outside while the umbrella were not sufficient and everything either jad to get wet in rains or wait for rain to stop room service was much to be desired as orders taken are primarily by temp staff so missing order items are common the rooms while very big and nice lacked maintenance cracked sinks water seeped walls leading to dampness study desk with no power points around again basics much to be desired . resturant was very average with little pr no knowledge by staff for eg . high tea has a 1 small samosa only per head and extra will be charge and a coffee estate resort with no good coffee and tea est left so craving for a good hot drink in morning . overall very average experience for a good brand name but looks like the management lacks good conviction to drive better customer experience .

STAY WAS GOOD WITH THE ROOMS CLEAN. EXTERIOR BUILDING NEEDS PAINTING AND MAINTENANCE. FOOD WAS GOOD BUT SOME MORE ITEMS NEED TO BE ADDED. INDOOR GAMES ROOMS IN PATHETIC CONDITION AND VERY BAD SMELL. STAFF VERY WELL BEHAVED AND COURTEOUS. GREAT LOCATION WITH GOOD VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS. BUT NOT WORTH THE RATE THEY CHARGE. MAX. YOU CAN PAY AROUND 6000 PER ROOM.

The property has everything that would be expected of in waynaad. Room directly overlooked Chembra peak. Suit has a hall kind of place to sit and balcony has nice view. Neat and clean. Good staff. Prompt service. Food option can be improved. Only items from buffet were available as ala carta. Breakfast buffet was ok.

Property is not very well maintained, services is good the staff are courteous. You will find good things too but no view out side report. One suggestion I would like to give to people booking it avoid booking with old people they will be bored as they can’t walk or get relax coz of steep height.

family with 1 kidproperty's location is great! but everything g after that is a utter disappointment. the upkeep and maintenence of the entire property is terrible. it seems the management has completely forgotten about the property and continue to take bookings and cater to guests as and when they arrive. the current state of the property is 1. unclean , unhygienic rooms 2. dirty walls , some with dirt marks , mostly others affected by dampness and mold 3. we booked a villa with jacuzzi... but I couldn't dream of even putting my feet Into this . the way its built and maintained is terrible. 4. furniture peeling off, fabric peeling off, curtains looks unclean.
