Average stay, power backup is a concern
family with 1 kidPower backup and less was a big concern, you have to call multiple times to get even a small thing addressed. property location is near to Dal Lake but it is a distant place from where most of the tourist will come due to this there is nothing around the place. if you like quite place then go for it.

No power backup and staf
familyPower backup and absolutely no staff is a big concern, you have to call all numbers multiple times to get a response. During power cut, no power backup which result in colder room, i have called several time to get the heater on as my child was on fever but eventually power.

groupI think it is one of the best hotel in Srinagar. The staff are very polite. They always call you and remind you for your breakfast and dinner, and the property have warm and cosy rooms. Overall it’s a value for money.

Hospitality is great, nice location with parking 👌 Please improve Dinner menu, taste of dinner was not even 3 star. Rest, breakfast was delicious and the view is also amazing.

budget stay
family with 1 kidWe have stayed here for 1 night during November 2024. The hotel is situated near nishat garden. The food here was tasty. The heater provided by the hotel was working well. However the location is not near main dal lake. The staff was very helpful.

Excellent Stay
Place was excellent, really liked property. Rooms was very nice and staffs are very helpful. Very neat and clean entire compound. Cute small park i liked alot. Suggest others to stay here.

Great stay
Our stay was amazing at the kashmir mahal resort, the staff was very helpful specifically ishfaq, shaukat, masroor, altaf and yaseen. I would definitely recommend this place.

couplePrices are too high according to the rooms, washrooms were not cleaned and it was way too expensive. It’s a 2 star hotel. Kindly book accordingly

There was very bad odour in the wash room and it was informed to the hotel management but they could not remove that smell and that led to an uncomfortable stay at the hotel we were not able to sleep with that smell.

coupleLocated at nishat road this is one of the best hotel/resort stays at kashmir. The staff are very courteous. Food served is delicious and ambience is very nice and appealing. Entire staff is very welcoming. I would recommend this hotel/resort for anyone who is visiting kashmir. Would love to come back and stay again.

familyThey don't give balcony room but i booked with balcony and their room service was to much poor. They don't give us toiletries items.

Total disappointment with the property
groupIt was a mixed feelings and experience. We felt that the advert on make my trip was misleading, we were not after a homestay not a guest house. The big signage of no smoking no alcohol was not mentioned in the promotion of the place, which took us unawares. The most important part was the strong cultural get up of the place, which may or may not be well-received. Finally, when we learn t that the the property would receive rs8180 and the remaining rs4000 was for make my trip, it didn't sit well with us. A price of rs4000 per room was not befitting of the property, location and amenities, such as no wash basins in the attached baths, no cupboard or shelf in the rooms. Also, the access was positively dangerous for senior citizens, which should have been mentioned in your write up. In short we were disappointed with your promotion and price.
