I rarely write reviews, but this stay was so disappointing that I had to. Ira by Orchid claims to be a business hotel, yet the basics were completely missing. The biggest issue – NO usable WiFi. The speed was barely 2 Mbps and only allowed 2 devices per room, even though ours was booked for 3 people. We had come for work, not leisure, and due to this we couldn’t download important files and our presentation was left incomplete.
Secondly, outside food is not allowed. Even home-cooked food packed by my mother wasn’t permitted, which felt very unreasonable. On top of that, the hotel is completely non-smoking, so I had to step out every single time.
The A.C. in my room was stuck at 22°C and couldn’t be adjusted – I complained but it wasn’t resolved during my 2-day stay.
Overall, this was honestly one of my worst hotel experiences. Definitely not suitable for business travelers and not worth the price at all.
