I booked it for my dad. After 10 minutes of checking in, there was a fault in one of the lights so they had to change his room, and again in the second room the AC was dripping water. And all of this was happening at midnight. For a 4-star hotel, I expected better maintenance of the rooms in one of the most busiest cities of India. I booked it for my dad. Discrepancy in Hotel Invoice – Request for Correction

I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a discrepancy in the hotel booking invoice for my recent reservation made through your platform. While booking, the hotel tariff was clearly shown, with taxes included, and the total amount matched this figure. However, in the final invoice provided, the hotel tariff is mentioned, although the total invoice amount remains unchanged. This inconsistency in the breakdown is not acceptable to our accounts department, and as a result, the current invoice is likely to be rejected for reimbursement purposes. I request you to kindly correct the invoice by reflecting the originally shown tariff and resend it at the earliest. The room was very small. There was barely any place to walk around the bed. I also left my reading glasses at the hotel by mistake but was told they could not loacte the same!

South Mumbai being an extremely high real estate location, it is imperative that proper space planning management is done. Our rooms comply with the standards of the Department of Tourism, Government of India with regards to all aspects including room size. May I suggest on your next visit you book a Lifestyle category which is more spacious. We have taken note of your observations, however, we would like to clarify that refurbishment is a continuous process at our hotel. Post covid we have started refurbishing our guest rooms, however, due to high occupancy we were able to complete a few rooms. This year we are planning to refurbish at least 15 rooms. Our restaurant Gulmurg, is also currently under renovation and there are plans to open an additional small outlet on the ground level. We would request you to treat this as a one-off incident and accord us another opportunity to serve you. We assure you that you will be satisfied. Once again please do accept our apologies.
