Sea Palace Hotel

Expired items were served while ordered food in room dining, staff is not polite and once the order is served in room the staff guy to pay for the food ordered, convey him we are staying for a night will pay during checkout but he came again while we were having food for the payment so paid for the food. Overpriced food, pathetic behaviour of staff. TV was not recharged so conveyed to reception so they sent staff, he also changed but again it was not recharged so again conveyed but no one came again. Not to stay in such hotel as well as towels were smelly and blankets too.

The property is not right for staying, everything is in bad and terrible condition , breakfast was with minimal option .

Excellent stay. Good service. Neat and clean room. Nice ambience. Roof top restaurant is perfectly served.

Best stay....very good staff....nice rooms....best sea view....sunrise point in the horizon from the room itself...plus the roof top and the inclusive breakfast were just ecstatic. Best main hub of Mumbai to stay in. Adjacent Taj Palace and gateway of India made the place so so much precious. Will want to stay here in this well ventilated and spacious rooms whenever we happen to visit this economic capital of India.

We got a sea facing room with a larger window which was nice. Good location overlooking the sea. There was a mini fridge in the room, so that is helpful. Clean linen and quick room service.

Room was nice n staff ws friendly, breakfast was also gud and night view was also good. Pocket. Food open bar ws gud

The hotel is next to the sea and gateway of india. The staff was good. The room was small with a dirty chair and had a few small cockroaches. Staff moved my car from hotel parking without intimation.

Overall experience was good with some cons - 1. We had to keep reminding the room service for basic items like sugar, tea and coffee sachets, shower gel, complimentary water bottles, etc, it never arrived without us calling and asking them for it, however once we gave them a call, it would arrive promptly, further there were no tooth pastes or toothbrush which are the basic items which can be expected at hotels. 2. Room rent is a bit on the higher side. Pros - 1. Great location 2. Fair variety of breakfast options available for veg and non veg 3. Courteous and welcoming approach of staff 4. Easy availability of cabs near hotel.

It’s overall a good experience. Nice location and nice staff. Little congested the lobby and lift area but that’s normal in mumbai.

Hotel is on very premium location near taj overall good but food is not good and overpriced. Breakfast was also not good.

At all services were good

Room was too small. It was like a gallery. Doesn’t worth for the amount paid. Breakfast was limited and average.

Pathetic experience of reception. Especially hotel of this repute and location. Reached at around 11 pm at hotel , had to wait for almost 1 hour for check in . Very rude behaviour by the reception counter. Other staff were gentle but couldn't help as they informed they are accustomed of that behaviour. Still we had patience, to my surprise there was no water available in room no toiletries. After asking house keeping it was provided in morning. Then we had to check out early as was there for an important Government meeting in vashi. But toniur surprise same person was still there again more than an hour passed by and then I was told that reception counter has not done check in for my entry in system and told me to take bill of check in check with 5 min of duration in morning which I denied. Till this time I have not received any bill . Not only us but other customers waiting had same experience and were literally feeling caught up. The bill given to the other two booking which were made by us got the bill but the amount paid doesn't match the bill amount.

Location is good but the rooms are not maintained properly. The bathroom was dirty just like an ordinary b&b hotel. Room had cockroaches. Shampoo was not provided so had to ask. Breakfast was ordinary with very limited choices. Only if you are looking for location then it’s ok, otherwise on same price you can get far better options elsewhere.

The checkin time was 12 noon. We reached around 2 pm and we were made to wait “we are making the room ready”. After we checked in—Cups weren’t washed, spoons were sticky, tea bags were soiled, water bottles weren’t kept. We needed to remind everything. Not value for money at all.

Decent property with all basic amenities covered for a business trip... in colaba locality.

We thank make my trip for helping us finding and finalising an accomodation very near to our place of interest, experience with the app is excellent. Sea palace hotel was very near to stadium and location was excellent. About the hotel, we would like to share our experiences as under: 1 hotel was very neat and clean, well maintained. 2. Staff was very nice, attentive and helpful 3 room allotted though neat and clean to us was very small, inspite of the fact that we booked for total 3 persons ( adults 2, child 1 - 7 years old) surprisingly bed was too small to accommodate all 3 and no extra mattress was provided, there was no space also for the mattress. We feel proper care must be taken to allot suitable rooms considering number of guests bath rooms was very small, no tap, only shower. Food was found very expensive, room service tea was rs. 206- for a cup, not to speak of other items.
