There is nothing special about the house boat. The standard of the boat is very average and there is hardly any basic facilities. The people are nice however beyond that nothing special.

I was little doubtful in the beginning as they have less reviews in google. Trusted mm t and booked. It was a great experience staying at houseboat hunza. The host, mr shabir is a great person. Everything was well arranged and welcoming. The property has been renovated and is as good as new. This place has hot water supply, which is a necessity for winter. There are hot blankets. Rooms have bukhari (traditional kashmiri room heater) which is available on rent per hour. The commute from ghat to houseboat was also hassle free.

The hospitality was nice. Houseboat was clean. Food was nice. Internet facility also available so good for prepaid customers without signal in srinagar

While touring srinagar stayed in house boat hunza at dal lake, booking was done through make my trip. It turned out nice and decent place

The stay was not very pleasant. Condition of the bathrooms ver poor. Needs maintenance. Water leaking. Rooms shabby. They dont have any shikara for going to the ghats. Overall very average stay.

Rooms were ok. Really needed was some heater facelities in room and power backup. As power cut is regular we were shivering with cold as electric blanket not working and no power backup / alternate heating facelty available.

Houseboat hunza is overall good.
