Review Of Hotel Snowland Sonmarg

This was my first visit to Sonmarg during the Amarnath Yatra in July 2025, and it turned out to be truly memorable. Our stay at Hotel Snowland Sonmarg was comfortable, satisfying, and deeply rejuvenating amidst the serene lap of the Himalayas. The hotel’s strategic location offers a unique advantage, with breathtaking views of both the Sindhu River (just a short walk away) and the glacier. The food was delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed both breakfast and dinner during our stay. The amenities were thoughtfully planned and maintained to high standards, ensuring convenience and comfort throughout. Moreover, the service was prompt, warm, and hospitable, adding to the overall experience. I would personally rate this location and stay far superior to my visit to Interlaken in Switzerland—a hidden gem in the Himalayas that truly surpasses expectations.

Pathetic Stay- Only room and view was good- otherwise- service, staff, everything was pathetic - AC not Working - don’t book this hotel at all. Even during dining and breakfast they don’t have cutlery and place to sit.

Snowland Hotel in Sonmarg is an Excellent hotel.Location and ambience of the hotel is awesome. The premium delight room was spacious with a balcony and had an amazing view of the mountains and the river. We stayed there for one night, wished we could have stayed for another night. The food was great, the staff were very nice and friendly. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit & strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sonmarg. Thank you to all staff at Hotel Snowland for an excellent stay.

One of the best Hotels in Sonamarg . Room was upgraded to an executive suite room . Rooms were very clean . Special thanks to Asif Ali manager who made our stay a very memorable one . Food was also fantastic .

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Snowland. They upgraded us to Delight room, which also had a jacuzzi. The room had a superb view. The food was good. The breakfast & dinner buffet had a great spread.

It's amazing 😍 stay,snow covered mountain view,frozen river ,too much scenic view, with both sides velly and river view both are mesmerizing . Location is too good, food is good ,all like staff, amenities and services are everything reached upto the mark, like to repeat once again

I recently stayed at Hotel Snowland Sonmarg during my trip to Kashmir, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel’s location was perfect for exploring the stunning landscapes and Tourist attraction. I loved: 1. Scenic Views: The hotel offers breathtaking views of the mountains and river making every morning a beautiful experience. 2. Service: The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made sure all our needs were met. 3. Cleanliness: The rooms were well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff ensured everything was spotless. 4. Food: The food was delicious, The breakfast and Dinner were highlights of my stay. Recommended for Food. Special Thanks to Mohsin and Asif Ali for taking special care at food section. Overall, I had a fantastic stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sonmarg. It offers great value for money, combined with stunning views and excellent service. I’m looking forward to coming back! 😍

Location is good. Food was good, made to order, ashfaq was really good, ensuring food is as per our dinner order and shared inputs about hotel and location. Room had heater. Proper hot water. Service was good at reception ob-aid and owais were helpful. Nice river view from balcony. All in all good stay.

Food absolutely average. Specially mutton rogan josh ( way below average. Location was good as it was sonamarg, anything was good. Denied serving food in room at first
