Nice, cosy, homely place to stay in Civil Lines, ie in central Kanpur. Hospitable and caring staff, particularly Mr. Abhishek and Mr. Vishal. Breakfast is fairly good and there is also a decent restaurant in the premuses

The Little Chef was my first choice to stay in Kanpur it was due to our deep family connections. My father was a senior management officer in British India Corporation and Barrister. Narendra Jeet Singh was his company 's counselor, later his son Adv Dhirendra Jeet Singh took over from his father. Both were my father's friends! So I preferred to reconnect with my Kanpur roots! Earlier in 2018 I had stayed in The Attic, another property of Barrister Saab. This time The Attic was fully booked. Staying at The Little Chef was a great experience. The rooms are cosy, the hotel is very clean and it's breakfast spread is wonderful. The reception staff is very courteous, very decent. This time I had booked three rooms for family & friends. Now my family and friends, both have decided to make The Little Chef their future place to stay at Kanpur! I wish The Little Chef a great future in the years to come!!

no socket in the room was working, after escalating to the reception, they haven't said , we ignored and later on in the evening when we again asked to see the issue they said the technician must have visited, they need our validation instead of checking them with their team . super poor service , at the time of checking we have been told that wifi is working since it's a business trip , we need wifi which was working at the reception but when we checked in its not working, we escalated the issue and the same answer has been given . I would not recommend this hotel at all and will never book this again. STRICT NO TO LITTLE CHEF HOTEL

The property was nice and easy to commute. Even as a new and an unknown city, I felt so safe with the people around. From the security guard to the receptionist to the manager and the House keepers, everyone were warm, helping and cooperative. The food was expensive as compared to what was served, however the staff their were welcoming. Overall a very good experience and I am certain to choose this same hotel in all my upcoming visits
