Review Of Hotel Chail Inn

Our room faced dense forest. Sunrise was very pleasant experience from room. Dining room was large. Location is very good, with car parking. Staff was extremely courteous.

What would you expect when you pay rs. 5, 700 (rs 4700 base fare + taxes) for a room called 'deluxe executive room? you would expect a deluxe executive room ! our room was clean and comfortable. No problem with that. But, it was certainly not a premium quality room that i have seen in dozens of hotels elsewhere in this price range. It lacked adequate maintenance (broken this, broken that) and had an average finish. Building itself is an old structure, needing maintenance. Owner would save guest from disappointment if they would just price and name the executive room rightly (by the way, we roamed around and noted that lower tier rooms are rightly priced: much lower. On flip side, the location is nice and close-2-everything; the owners and staff are courteous and considerate people. We had a pleasant time at chail; thank you.

The staff and owner were very cooperative and the ambience was very good and the hotel is very close to chail market although the market is very small. The hotel is very close to chail palace, kali tibba mandir etc. Kudos to chail inn hotel

Location very convenient, rooms good with great scenic view of Deodar forests. Arrangements in room good. Food not so good.

Stay is good but rooms were not clean on second day. And geyser was also not good.

Hotel is located in an ideal peaceful place yet near to the main market. The service was prompt and friendly. Food was always freshly prepared, very good and tasty. Cleanliness of the hotel was very good. All in all it was a very satisfying trip and one came away with a feeling of having received more than value for money.

Excellent location and courtious staff.

The booking done through your website doesn't give an idea of the services. We paid Rs. 7531/-(almost Rs.2510 per day) for 3 nights & 4 days. The room provided to us actually cost Rs 1400/- per day, so we end up paying Rs.1100/- for our breakfast and dinner along with 2 cups of tea in morning and evening. Our family included 2 adults and 2 children. now paying Rs.1100/- per day for 2 meals is too much. The room provided to us was hardly maintained. Room, washroom and linen all were dirty. We had to get the room cleaned before settling down. The positive points were that hotel was centrally located, the food was good and the staff was courteous. This was my first booking through your portal. The booking was hassle-free and the hotel people readily accepted the voucher send by you through mail.

The hotel is idealy located with respect to accessability, facilities in its vicinity and good background views. It has a decent restaurant providing good value for money. The staff is very courteous and co-operative. However, cleanliness and house keeping can be improved. It is recommended specially for those who seek value for money.

Location is just beside the mall road which is though very small so you can enjoy the natural beauty around mall. Hotel requires painting of walls an especially wood though service wise they excel.

Good hotel to stay in Chail. Location is near to market. Decent ambience at affordable prices

It was only a one night stay at Chail but it was unforgettable. Earlier that day I fell from a horse at Kufri, as the horse himself was baffled due to a thunderflash just 10 hands far from it! My horse and me were fortunate to live, so was my fiancee who was following me on another horse! We get on our car after a 15 minutes walk on hailstorm! Then we reached Chail on a dark wet evening and the hospitality of the inn literally saved us. The room was spacious with large windows, a big bed and sofa was well placed. We were hungry but the food was really not upto the mark. It was very oily and overly spicy. The small village center was just 5 minutes walk and the Chail Palace was also very close. However, that night was the night of storm and thunder. We nearly spent the night holding each other tight as the hotel was literally shaking due to continuous thunderflashes! The next morning we spent just 40 minutes in the Chail Palace and literally fled from Chail, as the weather forecast was saying : THUNDERSTORM! We would never forget Chail but this is not how we wanted to remember it!

The hotel is at a good location. There is nothing much in Chail apart from "Kali ka Tibba(Kali maa temple)". The staff of hotel talks like they are trying ti trick you to take money. Like they did not give travel agency number, other wise their commission go off. Room are not cleaned properly. The door are broken. Dust every where and they call it "Deluxe room". There were a big spider 2 inch big in the room. The cable was not working. When we asked them to fix it they said like Cable connection is down from Shimla. Hell Shimla is about 60+ KM away from Chail. Once the cable connection was up it did not work continuously for even 20 min and was cut off at 8 AM sharp. The hotel is not good. Please choose another if want not to be tricked your money.

Amidst Cedar forest a good budget hotel with semi-deluxe category facilities. Food was good though wait time was bit more. It is only 1 km away from Chail Palace, main tourist attraction and market of Chail is just walking distance, less than a km. Courteous and cooperative staff, ready to serve even if they do not have something, they arranged some items from market also on demand.

No proper sign board of Hotel was there which caused some difficulty to locate. Power back was poor. Frequent power failure occurred. Cable TV was not functioning. Wi-Fi was not available. Otherwise good.

Stayed in Semi deluxe room. Bed linen, pillows and towels were dirty. Food was average, salt in lentils was missing. Morning breakfast bread had molds and fungus. Would not recommend it, with more folks traveling now a days. Hotels need to keep up their standards with the travel industry.

The Hotel was surprisingly one of the best 'Value for Money' Hotel I have ever booked on MakeMy Trip.com. I stayed there for 3 nights and I really loved the stay. The hotel location is best among any hotel in Chail. Staff is very flexible, experienced and courteous. After I booked the hotel I read some negative reviews of some of the foreigners on another website. I was a little nervous about those reviews, especially about the dumpyard and foul smell. I did not find any of those reviews true during my stay. May be those problems were recitfied since. I recommend this hotel for all kinds of tourists to chail. Especially those looking for some nearby trekking opportunities and value for money.
