It was very difficult to find a decent average hotel in Delhi, especially in the area near Kakardooma Metro Station. I changed three hotels, and finally, tired and resigned to the fact that this is the only service I could get here, I settled in this hotel.
The claims mentioned on the MMT website do not match the actual condition here. The pictures on the website look quite posh, but the reality of the hotel room is completely different.
The room and bathroom conditions were disappointing:
There are yellow stains all over the bathroom walls.
The sink does not drain water smoothly.
Only one new towel was provided upon entering the room, with no hand towel or bathroom mat included.
The tap inside the bathroom was broken (this was mentioned by the receptionist before allotting the room).
The shower, towel-hanging wall mount, and taps were all rusted.
The commode had yellow stains inside.
The bucket was dirty and yellow, with no mug provided.
The walls of the room had stains and patches of worn-out paint, leaving some areas exposed with cement visible.
The bedside table was dusty.
Additional missing facilities included:
No kettle set with tea and coffee.
No plates, spoons, or glasses.
No hot water geyser.
No chair, as was mentioned on the MMT website.
However, on a positive note, the hospitality was good, and the behaviour of the staff was very nice. Be it the reception, housekeeping, or restaurant staff—they all did their best to take care of the demands made.
