Location is awkward, rooms are luxurious, staff is cooperative, facilities are also good, laundry cost is too high.

1. Parking is available but it's b tr to let the owner park becoz it's located by the mountain and is on slope. 2. Owner is very helpful. 3. The room and the washroom are good and clean. The stay is well maintained.

Very narrow road to the location. Difficult even if an autorickshaw comes from opposite side. Parking also very difficult

Room is very clean, not a lodge type, like a home feel

Wonderful pleasant stay Incharge of the property is so humble and nice, the word HOME STAY perfectly suit for this property.. staying here feel like going to relatives home for vacation.. I recommended all to cherish the experience. The Jeep Safari will be arranged by the property Incharge itself so we can have extra time than normal.

Host was friendly. Provided us food, rooms were spacious enough for a family of 4. Enough amenities, spacious kitchen at terrace ends the longing for home food

Owners behaviour was too good, room was clean, and excellent room.

Location is very good, walkable distance from bus stand and the reserve too. For the price, it was an extremely satisfying stay. The hosts were very helpful, our car broke down and they helped us get it fixed. Options for food nearby are less, and the cottage is on a steep slope, so older people might find it a bit hard to walk up.

Poor very por. I dodnt enjoy living there far from main area. Nothing to do around. No auto taxi. I had to Wall to go out on my own and they were charging so high. Hotel has no contact with safari people. I am not going to recommend it to anyone. The only thing I could do is go to safari

Very near to the bus stand. Market, center and entry gate-periyar tiger reserve is at walking distance. Care taker Mr. Jamal and his wife are very supportive & helpful. Home cooked breakfast is very nice.

It was a great time staying in Hornbill. We checked in at 2PM on 9 June 2017. We were received and greeted. Our rooms were so clean and neat. Mr. Jamal & his wife maintains this cottage and it does have good parking space. They prepare delicious food at very nominal cost. They serve it with love and affection which will make us eat more. Coffee or tea provided by them is so good and when you have coffee in hand enjoying the weather. Its awesome experience. Thanks to Mr. Jamal & Family. We loved our stay and we stayed there for 3 days. Highly recommended.
