Firstly, the good. The staff is courteous and helpful. The location is a bit far from the mall but well connected by buses and the lift. Food is good generally, but there is no buffet for the breakfast; maybe as i came during the offseason. Now, there is much that can improve. The outsides look very unappealing. It's an old property and many things in the rooms seem to be falling apart. Very poor plumbing, jammed doors, no easy place to charge your equipment. The killer point is the tariffs - in spite of relatively poor stay experience, and off-season, the rooms are rather expensive! paying over 4000 for a 'corner room' was just not worth it. Even the other rooms are expensive for the competition in shimla.
