Poor facilities with zero maintenance
familyBedsheets were dirty with black spots. Bathroom tap was not working properly, the hot and coldmixer was not working. The drain did not had lid and the bathroom was in habitable condition. The bed cover also was stinking. Electric kettle not provided. Poor facilities as per money charged.

Very small rooms. No room heater even in a cold weather of 5 degrees or so. No good power back up (tries to save money by cutting off power if majority of guests have checked out. Limited food in buffet dinner. Absolutely no value for money

It was a great experience at Delight Fortune Lachen. Staff were friendly. They helped with medicines required for my family. Food was good though it was expensive.

Good clean rooms and bathrooms
coupleThere are very few hotels in this area which are actually comfortable and clean. Liked this one. Tea was good at this place.

Stay was just okay
Our stay wasn’t worthy as rooms weren’t as good as it should have been and even toilet wasn’t appropriate. Lachen doesn’t provide lot many options hence we can’t choose much.

My experience at delight the fortuna lachen
familyHotel has very minimal facility and not worth the money. Due to limited option in lachen, tourist have no choice but as hotel is charging huge money without any facilities. Rooms are uncomfortable and bedsheets not clean. Food is very average and no tea kettle in rooms. Hotel did not provide any parking option also.

Small Sweet Hotel - BUT.
groupFood quality and kitchen hygiene is TERRIBLE . not sure you will eat if you enter the kitchen by chance. Staff cuts corners in providing bathroom sanitary. No soaps shampoo toiletries. Have to repeatedly ask staff for one thing. Weird smell in lobby area Rooms are small but cute. No heaters as they are not allowed by local administration

Not worth money
Room charges are on very high side basic amenities missing for the price provided not much option for food, food tasted ok and one of the pane-er curry smelled stale. No power backup no alternative options for hot water. For the tarrif charged it's totally not worth it. Better they call themselves 1* rather than 3* as no service is provided. Have to ask for everything to the staff by walking down the stairs and finding one. No phones in rooms.

Pathetic service
Do not opt for the breakfast package, as they will hand you a little packet of biscuit and juice in the name of breakfast. The manager is so unprofessional that he locked the premises and went missing. In spite of informing him that we would be leaving at 4 am sharp, he along with his staff abandoned the place. We faced a delay of 1. 5 hours, banging every possible door to let us out. It's a shame that such a beautiful property is managed by such idiots.

Not value for money at all
Couple of points I want to mention on the rating I gave - good points - big rooms with hot water facility checked the rt pcr test reports before check-in worst points - the manager or perhaps the person leading the hotel was a big liar and commented weird and logics to serve veg in the hotel. I had been visiting north sikkim a couple of times before and was really shocked with his understanding of nature and how to behave with the boarders in the hotel. We had no towels in the room and after a lot of complain we received it at night which is just unacceptable when you have reached after a long journey. Same goes for an extra blanket as well. So bottom line, there are other much cheaper options with better facility rather that this hotel.

Not worth it
groupWe were 3 people but the extra bed was too small, bathroom was dirty with no exhaust, it was chilly there( 2 degrees) but no heater provided, only 1 towel that too was dirty, dinner is poor, no room service as no telecom in the room, room was small, and please don't include breakfast in your room selection, you'll get frooti and bread-jam.

Lachen trip
It is nice premium hotel, food is absolutley good. Dipak rai was very good. This is mountain place getting good food is rare.

Great location, lovely stay and hospitality
The hotel is at a pristine location of lachen in sikkim. It is a new property which is evident in the quality of furniture and fixtures. It provides a great value for money as compared to other hotels in the area. Had booked summit previously but cancel-led and booked this hotel. Thankfully the decision was a good one. The best part was the hospitality and friendliness of the hotel staff. I had left my laptop charger during my stay. The manager of the property pint u helped deliver to gangtok over the next 2 days ! amazing gesture. Thank you so much ! the food was good though would prefer non veg options to be available as well. Overall, a very good stay and would definitely recommend for anyone travel-ling to lachen !
