Review Of Hotel Khangzik

It’s difficult to locate. It has three floors without any lift & just above the third floor there is no glasses/window panes on the stairs so cold wind gushes inside. Food is below average. Under staffed. Doesn’t serve food promptly. However the staff try to cater to your needs but climbing three floors each time after such a tiring trip at around 7000ft won’t be a preferable stay. Overall an average experience.

Hotel Khangzik stay was excellent. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Clean toilet. Food is good. Breakfast option was also good.

They are lotting customers money,as due to Sikkim govt's transportation rule not more than 70 car's are allowed,so more than that no car was allowed to visit the place.Hence we request to refund the money but although they have commited makemytrip to refund but later they refused. Don't recommend this hotel for your stay as they are not atall customer friendly

Comfortable stay with tasty cooked food. Staff is really well mannered and provide great hospitality. One can choose this for a short as there are very limited options to stay in lachen

Good and humble staff clean and spacious rooms with good insulation good food

When you go to a hotel, the least you expect is room service. In this hotel, all we got was reasons. Of why they can't even give tea because they have to get up early. Ordering at room was totally out of question. For the kind of money they charge, this is ridiculous. Also, in the balcony, there were cobwebs, the sheets were not clean, food options are limited and the walls were damp. Will never recommend anyone to go there. Thank you.

Stay for leisure and other travel to gurudongma lake it was an average place to stay with not many amenities the food was just manageable and the staff was very less however it was managed fine

Overall excellent hotel, one of the best is lachen, extra specious and modern room, modern bath accessories, and beautiful view from balcony. Staff is very helpful and food is very delicious, will recommend to everyone who want to visit lachen en route gurudongmor

Did not find it at least good from reception to hygiene and hospitality. It was not welcoming at all. Location is also not a convenient place.

The hotel is new and has all basic necessities even in the difficult lachen area. Food was basic but very delicious, a relief after a tiring journey from gangtok. The rooms with balcony view provide a beautiful view of the hills nearby

I am very pleased with the service provided by the hotel my stay was very pleasant, the rooms are superb, clean an hygienic that’s something very hard to find in hill station not all hotels are too clean, the staff were very helpful and sweet, rooms has the beautiful view, they even upgraded my room to a better one as my stay was long, on my request everything was available at ease, i hv asked few food to be made at lunch and they did consider my request and provided me with the same i m very happy and satisfied with over all experience with the stay in hotel the food was good, good food has been the toughest part during my travelling but i m totally satisfied with the hotel service i would surely visit again and also recommend to my friends who would travel next time.

We stayed for two nights in may'23, in a room with verandah. The hotel is beside axis bank atm and in the middle of lachen. We first went to lachung for two nights and visited zero point (15000ft) and acclimatised before visiting kalapathar (18000ft) and gurudongmar lake (17800ft) from lachen. Usually tourists visit lachen then lachung for one night each place but we did the reverse for two nights at each of the places. The hotel serves a standard menu (non vegetarian) but also serves based on requests. Be careful of change of linens.

We stayed here for a one night halt while going to gurudongmar lake. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, they provide warm blankets and hot water. The room service is prompt. Food is good

The stay was very comfortable, one of the rooms booked was very spacious, other was okay. But washrooms were wonderful. Bare in mind that lachen doesn’t have continuous electricity and therefore lifts are rare and if electricity cuts off, you only get generator from 5:30am in morning to 10pm in the night. You also get hot water in washroom. The food was great, the bar was great too. Nearby places also had alcohol and snacks. Everything closes post 9/10.

We booked this hotel based on previous reviews on make my trip and we were not disappointed. the rooms were very clean and had all the basic amenities as mentioned in the booking details. the staff is very courteous and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. special mention- We were very tired and overslept and missed the dinner timing. The staff made sure to save some food for us and served it hot to us when we finally came down. Food was very good and homelike. Highlight of the stay- view from the top floor rooms was exquisite! Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
