near to main tourist places in gangtok. well cleaned and good behaviour of staffs

The good part was the view of valley from the room ( 502. Room service staff was polite. Big negative : front office desk were extremely rude and behaves very aggressively during check in on the matter of car parking. We had to bring our luggages ourselves 100 metres uphill. Hotel didn't provide any staff, neither allowed our car to be parked so that the luggages can be taken. Food quality not good. Ordered chilly chicken however the chicken pieces were so big, we couldn't eat also food prices are exorbitant washroom basin wasn't working properly, even after informing them it didn't get resolved Sikkim tourism charges extremely high for even a very small thing.

The view from the hotel is great. Food is really delicious and stay is comfortable for a budget traveller. All the important areas are in walking distance.

Location of the hotel is very good and food quality in the restaurant is excellent. The rooms are spacious and cleaned regularly but lack in some basic facilities which can be improved. Staff behaviour is good. Overall we had a good stay there considering the room tariff.

Never recommend anyone to hotel tibet in gangtok. Food has been good at a reasonable price but the stay is just horrible. Shabby rooms at such high rates with bathroom facets not working. Even no proper mirror for a morning shave. Geyser not working have to had a chilled water bath. Rooms are not well maintained, are stinking. Furnitures are of 1970s. The hotel need immediate revamp. Rates are too high as compared to room size and quality.

Location is the only plus. Everything else was bad. The room was very small and shabby. Interestingly the tap on the washroom only had hot water. Staff were reluctant to listen to any and all issues. Tv did not work and was not fixed. We were told that we had to have our dinner in that very small room as their restaurant was busy and they wanted to close it soon and were not ready for us to wait as we did not want to have dinner for six in the small room. Fortunately an external customer vacated a table and we were able to eat. Seemed like not a good option as much better options were available nearby at cheaper rates.

Delicious food, co operative staff

The room was filthy. Unhygienic, needed room spray to stay. Bathroom commode flash not working. Basin tap not working. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Room light was insufficient. Food was spicy. Scarcity of service staff. Only good thing is location. Very close to MG Marg.

Extremely comfortable stay

Location is very good and just 2/3 minutes walking distance from mg marg area. Very good restaurant and well behaved staff.

Worst Hotel bad service small washrooms

Overall it was an average stay.

Location was good. You can view Kanchenjunga peak right from your deluxe room. The rooms are though bit small in size. The hotel has a restaurant, where they serve multi cuisine food. We had Chinese and Tibetan food, which were good, though a bit over priced. Service was good.

Very good location, you can see the Kangchenjunga from view room. The restaurant is very good and prepare testy food.

Stay was fine. No lift in the Hotel. Room service was available.

Stay is peaceful. My family is enjoying the trip. Food taste is average.

Tibetian food will never get such high quality.
