room service is a disaster. I have to wait for 1 -1.5 hrs for food to be delivered at my room. property is good . very less option in food selection.

The location of the hotel is really excellent, nice views of Madurai City from the Hotel. Buffet food was awesome and many varieties. Excellent services from the hotel staff.

Beautiful property outside . Inside decent . Horrible mosquitoes. Don’t try one misquote bite can change your health condition ( dengue , Chickengunya ... ) staff decent food very good . But , I never take risk with kids or family .

check in process was simple, however most rooms were not ready inspite its 3 pm. property is old and renovation is going on in many places. it's an habitat for peacocks and wonderful experience. food was overall good and few local delicacies need improvement. excellent location and peaceful resort

it's amazing old hotel with all facilities. place is so beautiful and outer from city . excellent place for family. all activities available. stay inside forest with lot of peacock. marvelous. food and service in restaurant is pathetic

What a scenery and location. Simply Marvellous. It’s greenery and bird watching is amazing especially peacocks. True adorable.

Excellent location and spacious rooms. The property is a bit old and could benefit from some maintenance and renovation. Apart from breakfast, one additional meal was complimentary, and we could choose from the à la carte menu — a thoughtful gesture. The breakfast spread was somewhat average and didn’t quite meet the usual Taj standards. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality.

Location is like nature's paradise with an excellent food full of varieties and taste.Service right from reception to room was just fantastic. Hotel had given me a green signal to come and stay in it but the guard didn't let us enter the premises in time that was a bit disheartening as over phone they (reception) told us to come and stay and despite that we weren't let enter the hotel by the guard till we made an online booking on the spot.

Had a two day comfortable stay at what is more a serene charming colonial resort in a verdant setting than a hotel in a bustling town. You are pleasantly greeted by peacocks after a small drive up the hill. The temple town visit turned into more of a memorable vacation assisted by the courteous staff, well-appointed spacious room, great food, leisurely morning walk atop the hill and serene city view with silhouetted temple towers from the Moon Deck watching the lights come as the Sun sets and cool breeze blows. All in all, it was a perfect stay with warm Taj hospitality.
