1. The Room air conditioning temperature cannot be regulated. It is a fixed temperature. It is very cold. 2. The water pressure is less in the shower . 3. Too much of non veg smell in the restaurant, so how do vegetarians manage, we had breakfast outside though we had paid for it .4. No Duvets in the room only 1 blanket with 2 bed sheets and remember Ac temperature issue. 5. The lift doors move very fast , very very dangerous and because if this it appears that sensor also fails to detect movement.

Excess Bad Smell, Not at all loved by devotee , differ from photo , terrible stay , Pl avoid this hotel

The moment I walked into the room, there was this strange, musty smell that just wouldn’t go away. It wasn’t fresh or welcoming, and it set the tone for the entire stay. Even after keeping the windows open for a while, the odor lingered, making the room feel uncomfortable and not properly maintained. The blankets were another major disappointment. They looked very old and worn out, with a rough texture that made them unpleasant to use. On top of that, they didn’t feel clean at all. It was clear they had been used for a long time without being replaced, and the lack of freshness raised concerns about hygiene. Having to sleep with bedding that felt dirty made it very difficult to relax or get a good night’s rest. What’s frustrating is that these are really the basics of any stay—clean, fresh-smelling rooms and proper bedding should be the minimum standard. Everything else can be forgiven if these essentials are taken care of. Unfortunately, this property didn’t meet those basic expectations. With better cleaning, proper maintenance, and replacement of old items, the experience could improve significantly. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend this stay to anyone looking for comfort.

Location and service were excellent. Breakfast taste and spread was also good, however dinner ala carte was ok, and amenities were also ok.

The Property was nice and in the heart of city. Rooms were clean ,food was very nice and service was also good.

Great Location and friendly staff... Room is neat and clean.. Food taste is also nice... Bit noisy Air conditioner that is the only concern I had seen in this Property.

Have been staying in this hotel every time I visit Madurai since early 2000 .. the hotel now is aging and required to refurbished. Over priced and too much push given for non vegetarian food and that’s a big downer given it’s a temple town

I parked my car at royal court hotel, they damaged my car and covered with paint touch up. Now it's cost me 5k to repaint the panal

Location is really close to railway and usual bus stops. Staff is courteous and helpful. Breakfast was really good. In room veg dining options were average. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The location of the hotel is great if you want to visit the meenakshi temple. Very clean and well kept rooms. Cordial and prompt staff. Felt safe for solo women travellers.

Good hotel and responsive front desk. Buffet breakfast was good but the empty items were refilled very slowly

Very high price but low quality food and room. Safe wallet is not working and in bathroom washing water more bathroom fittings is not good

Breakfast was good, walkable distance to temple, quite old furniture, a/c was not sufficient enough to cool the room & thermostat is for name sake, overall an average hotel,

The quality of food was not as expected. Quite limited options in breakfast and we reached the breakfast around 10am and everything was already finished. 1-2 items were left and the staffs were hesitant to refill the food back. One of the staff commented- “i just stocked up idly and it’s already finished” this was not at all acceptable. If i had any other option available in madurai i wouldn’t have booked this low class staff hotel.

Overall the stay and services were good however we didn’t receive a very friendly welcome. As we were travel-ling with 2 elderly people, the staff was not flexible to provide early check in even though there were many empty rooms.

Location was ok. The room upkeep is good. However, the room smells moldy. Insufficient ventilation. The food was excellent. The staffs at the dinning was very polite and attractive.

Spacious and clean room. Proximity to the temple. Breakfast had good options and tasty. Staff were courteous and helpful
