Excellent, beautiful property in natural surroundings! enjoyed the peacocks all around. Relaxing experience, away from the bustle of the city.

Room was good and neat.. room service was very delayed..food was average..taste was not upto Madurai’s standards..

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10/10) Our 3-night stay at The Gateway, Madurai was simply outstanding and truly unforgettable. Right from the moment we stepped in, the warmth of the reception and the ever-smiling staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone in the campus was always ready to assist, no matter the time or the request. We were traveling with our elderly parents, and the care, comfort, and attention we experienced made us feel like we were staying at home rather than in a hotel. Every little detail was taken care of with such thoughtfulness that our family felt completely at ease throughout. A special word of gratitude to Mr. Tapan and the restaurant staff – the food was prepared and served with so much love and heart that every meal became a cherished memory. In every aspect – hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, food, and service – The Gateway, Madurai, delivered a perfect 10/10. We left with hearts full of gratitude and would definitely love to return again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madurai! The quality, taste, and warmth in service were all top-notch.

I stayed here with my family for two nights, the property is in a hill top suprising in a city like madurai, this is a heritage property so the rooms felt like old British styled, the standard room was spacious with a view of the city from the balcony, the food is really good but bit expensive which you expect with Taj, well maintained property with great service kudos to the management and team. if you are looking for a real get away from bustling city life and enjoy your time with family a sure to go place.pls note most iconic places of madurai is a bit far so a vehicle is always handly.

The property is beautiful , the food is delicious but it’s lacking in service . The staff is very courteous to talk to, but in serving food they are lacking the basics… like jotting down the menu , serving the table , manners etc. Need to train them for these things .

calm, cool and clean atmosphere preserve with Gateway. food quality and teste remind to come again. staff are very cooprativr and all sports facilities are accessible

room service is a disaster. I have to wait for 1 -1.5 hrs for food to be delivered at my room. property is good . very less option in food selection.

The location of the hotel is really excellent, nice views of Madurai City from the Hotel. Buffet food was awesome and many varieties. Excellent services from the hotel staff.

Beautiful property outside . Inside decent . Horrible mosquitoes. Don’t try one misquote bite can change your health condition ( dengue , Chickengunya ... ) staff decent food very good . But , I never take risk with kids or family .

check in process was simple, however most rooms were not ready inspite its 3 pm. property is old and renovation is going on in many places. it's an habitat for peacocks and wonderful experience. food was overall good and few local delicacies need improvement. excellent location and peaceful resort

it's amazing old hotel with all facilities. place is so beautiful and outer from city . excellent place for family. all activities available. stay inside forest with lot of peacock. marvelous. food and service in restaurant is pathetic
