what a place it is, a stay that you can never miss. the staff were soo good, their food is excellent. the palace is a master piece, every corner is picture perfect. A days stay is never enough here.

Good Part: It is a beautiful property with luxurious rooms with all the amenities and easily accessible. Bad Part: The property is poorly maintained with most of the experiences listed down by them in the booklet not available. The food is below average, poorly presented with most of the popular items not available including liquor leaving the guest with limited choices. Not sure why the menu of two of their restaurants is exactly the same. We requested a birthday cake at the time of booking but nobody from the staff was bothered about it, tried to inquire or inform about it. We shouldn't have opted for this property to celebrate our special day because the staff made no effort to make it even slightly special despite the missing cake blunder. Overall it's a comfortable stay if you go with minimal expectations.

Great hotel and pleasant stay

Our stay at the lotus palace chettinad was extremely comfortable. The rooms are top notch, spacious and comfortable. The staff and service is excellent. Special mention to vignesh, siddique, manikandan for going out of our way to make our stay so warm and pleasant. The manager mr. Kathir ensured our feedback was well received as and when we had them. We arrived and left via bus, so for a premium hotel if would be good to offer pick up and drop service, especially since the hotel is just 400 mts away. The front desk can be trained a little more for customer arriving early in the morning like we did given our bus schedule. However, overall great stay, rooms and the best support staff. Would recommend and we already look forward to visiting with family again
