Review Of ibis budget Wien Messe

The place is 20 mins by the subway from the city center. Very close to the u bah n stations (the place is midway between two. They serve breakfast with limited options. No restaurants in the hotel for lunch or dinner. It’s good for budget travellers. The rooms are small but it may feel too small for 2 people.

I recently stayed at the ibis budget hotel in vienna and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The washroom was far smaller than expected. Initially staff at the front desk were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to any concerns i raised. Overall, my stay was uncomfortable and not worth the price. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in vienna

Good location good access to public transport. But no other basic stuff like water kettle nor iron box

Quite a nice stay, well connected to metro

We went as a couple for my exams and also our annual vacation. It was about a 5 minutes walk from Praterstern station you get almost 24 hours access to any part of Vienna and other popular cities by direct trains. The staffs were very helpful, courteous and approachable. They guided us in sight seeing. Very clean, spacious and well maintained rooms. Breakfast was relatively cheap and good quality. Only issues we faced were toilets without latches and water spilling from bathrooms despite taking all precautions please fix these issues as families will prefer to stay here. We would love to come and stay here again.

Good hotel and a good location. 20 minutes from the main city.

The best part of the hotel is their staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I started having a toothache on second day of my visit to Vienna. The staff helped me finding a doctor who didn't charge any money for the treatment. The only drawback is that the room didn't had any storage space to keep your clothes etc. And also they don't provide any electric kettle.

I partly take responsibility for not checking all the reviews for this hotel. The rooms are not only too small but very basic without many amenities. The fact that there is no separate bathroom (it's right in the room itself with a glass partition) made it uncomfortable for us. The breakfast had enough options in bread and cold cuts/cheese but no fresh fruits. The location also was a bit off as there were not many food options open at night.

Located very close to the central area. Easy to travel to Karlsplatz station where the state opera, Imperial palace are located. Vorgartenstraße which is the nearest station to Ibis.

No facility given other than the room. Not even a coffee kettle provided in the room

The room was OK near to prater, but city is bit far good connectivity, but the air conditioning was not great as they said they are on heating mode and it was hot.

Neat clean hotel only if used for sleeping after roaming whole fay

The location of the hotel is great. There are 2 tram stations very near the hotel. Hop on hop off bus stop is also quite close. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean. The shower and toilet were two different units within the room which was a good thing since we were a family of two adults and a kid and it saved us time in the morning while getting ready. However, the toilet did not have a latch. The shower had frosty glass, but only half way. So it would be awkward if you are staying with anybody other than family. The breakfast per person was quite good. The staff at the front desk were helpful. Since we reached before check in time, we just wanted to keep our luggage at the hotel for some time. But we were lucky and since the room was already clean and available, we got to checkin early as well. The light in the toilet was not functioning, but got rectified immediately upon us reporting the same. Since it is a budget hotel, you definitely cant expect five star facilities. One does hope for some table or chair or kettle or more space in the room. But given the price, I think that would be too much to expect. All in all, good value for money in Vienna
