The host is really good, but the workers are really lazy who you basically interact with on a regular basis for food, water and others. What absolutely enraged me was their reason to not cook anything extra apart from the pratha and aloo because no guests and they want to wrap up dinner early. This is the reply i get at 7:00 pm in the evening. Trust me because i was sick i accommodated with their being but the fact is they're extremely lazy and told me the same thing when i requested for milk tea on a sunday morning at 9:00 am. The reply was since it is a sunday and shops are closed we can only provide black tea. Mind you this homestay is not located in the middle of nowhere but offers a very good location and they tell me they cannot get milk. Are u freaking kidding me?
i had to immediately call the host, she was generous enough to coerce them to get milk from the market and make the tea for me. Now i understand homestay is a very basic concept and can provide bare minimum specially if it's in a remote location but what i don't understand are these tantrums of homestays located in a city and acting like they're in middle of nowhere and where nothing is available. Another thing is my booking included breakfast so when i enquired abt why they had charged me in the bill, i was told by the worker that it was told by ma'am and when i tried calling ma'am she didn't pick up, ofcourse. My suggestion is don't take bookings it u can't provide basic stuff, again you're doing no favour to me, i am paying u for the service and if u cannot provide the basics then just put it out in front in the booking description that we're not well equipped to provide basic services also. And please fire your lazy workers who don't know to deal with guests
