Amazing place to spend time. The bed bathroom were all clean,only the Tv was not working. And one short complain that I was asked 3-4 times that which room was I staying in?!! It offends a bit

Our stay at Vivanta shillong was very good. Breakfast was great with lot of food options. Location is very good near police bazar. All the staffs are very friendly and happy to help always. Altogether our experience was excellent 👍🏻

fine cut hospitality at Taj Vivanta Location food staff stands par excellence. Toiletries were exclusive. Nothing stand ordinary here. will visit again.

Our stay was wonderful, especially thanks to the housekeeping team, and receptionist who did an excellent job with our room. However, the restaurant service needs improvement. During dinner, we had to call staff to take our order, and while the server was professional, there was a lack of friendliness. Breakfast felt overlooked, as the team focused mainly on large groups. Managers and supervisors were present but did not engage with guests or check on tables. We believe more attention to all guests, not only groups, would improve the overall dining experience.

Awesome exeperience. The food was super delicious. The location is easy to find. We were even given an upgraded room. Will visit again

Everything about the property was just perfect. The staffs were extremely cordial. The location is very good as it is right in Police Bazaar. The only thing missing is a swimming pool considering it is a 5 star property.

If you are looking for a stress free enjoyable stay at Shillong , Vivanta by Taj is the place to be. From my Check-in to Checkout on the 5th the Staff made me feel like a King every step of the way. Be it their amenities or my special requirements owing to my condition of Diabetes and Heart Condition, the staff always ensured that I was attended to .From the time of my checkin where Chisel, Ishika and others front office employees (MY fault i lost the list of the Front office employees who took care of my needs for the stay). I had heard that when it comes to Hospitality The Taj is the best. And lo I wasn't surprised. Your Hospitality is the benchmark in the business. I shall be failing in my duty if I don't list the names of the ever smiling chefs and the F&B employees who attended to me every single day. Their pride of being a part of the chain was so obvious. From the Chefs, Gopal, Ganesh and Pradeep to the servers Prerna,Rajesh , Dewaker and there were many others to the cleaning lady , they were always on their toes to help.

Vivanta is managed by Taj. Vivanta Shillong is much below average for Taj as we have stayed in numbers of hotels managed by Taj . Food cost is exorbitanat . Our stay was excellent and we enjoyed a lot. Warm welcome by the reception and comfortable checkin experience and great buffet..

Very nice staff very humble people specially Chef Gopal and Chef Babloo Chauhan came to us and they were really good. Very nice food and it was very surprising that the chef is coming to table and you know they are discussing. We felt very happy about that and Rajashree from the front desk and her friend Laxmi, what is your name, friend? I think her friend is Shweta. Something both of them are really nice driver also, Raymond is too good.

Property location excellent, foods solid tasty & facilities are as want available.

We had great stay. The staff was very polite and helpful. Chef Gopal was genuinely concerned about my gluten intolerance and always helped me in guiding which dishes to eat and which to avoid. He made me gluten free meals as per my choice. Besides, Kritika was very polite and served us with a smile. Chef Babloo also prepared gluten-free muffins for me. The property is centrally located next to the Police Bazar which is happening place in Shillong. Overall a wonderful and pleasant stay.

We had an amazing and comfortable stay. All the staffs were extremely polite, sweet and hospitable. Loved the breakfast, it had a lot of delicious varieties. Overall a 4/5 experience.

As usual service. There were a few miss. In-Dining cutleries were not provided. Toothbrush etc. were provided only for 1 person although room was booked for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Clean Spacious Rooms, good food, helpful staff are the positive points. slow wifi, no kids section, no pool are the negative points
