Location is serene. Staff is courteous and very high on hospitality. Food very good. Must explore site if one has to get rid off city hustle.

Location (3/5: off the road, but property is in a village with similar properties under construction so lot of noise and no jungle view. Rooms (4/5: very well maintained rooms. Very clean and smells good when you enter. Bathroom was spacious and had great shower, good plumbing (majority resorts in jim corbett miss this critical facility) food (3/5: food tasted good but options were pretty limited. Breakfast (4/5: kudos to chef for a nice spread high tea (1/5: i wouldn't call a cup of tea and 4 biscuits as high tea indoor activities (4/5: well maintained pool table, foosball, carrom, enough to keep a small party occupied. Outdoor activities (1/5: as mentioned it is a hotel not resort so no place to bask in sun or play a game of badminton. Staff (4/5: very cooperative staff. Thanks to lokesh for managing our stay well. Critical tips for future guests: network : an issue is no network except jio and bsnl. We had air-tel and got cut off without hotel wifi. Group vs individual: i went with my wife and daughter, a group of 4-5 folks also was there, they were consuming alcohol in open near bonfire, playing music which was a mood buster. So better to travel as a group else you would most likely be confined to your room.

Very beautiful property. Experience was highly customized. Management took into account our dietry restrictions and prepared everything according to it. Place is very calm, comfortable and accommodating.

The property is extremely small. It is actually not a resort at all. This is a house someone made and this group has taken the house and running it like a resort. It just has 5 rooms and a swimming pool, a very small lawn and that's it, the property ends. There is no place you can sit, relax, roam around or anything. And if all the rooms are occupied, then forget about finding any space for yourself. You are confined to your own room. After driving through a treacherous terrain to reach here, if you get this kind of a house/make shift arrangement, your experience is not the best to be honest. We received a very detailed message on whatsapp before arriving from the property mentioning how they do not allow loud music at the property due to this being in the lap of nature and few other things. There was extremely loud music being played for almost 3 hours, at night, in the property which was a complete nuisance. The staff did not bother stopping the guests playing this loud music. This was in the small resort lawn and it was so loud, you could easily hear it even 200 metres from the property. Rooms are excellent and that's the only thing about this property to write home about. Service is ok. Food is not great at all. All dishes are completely bland and not enjoyable at all. They do not have even the basic level of spice in the dishes, which is minimally required to make the dish flavourful. I asked for a late check-out by just 30 mins, since my wife was not felling well, to which they completely denied. They mentioned the property is sold out and they have to prepare the rooms. I checked the bookings it was showing me 3 rooms which i could book for the day. Hence, staff does not have the ethics and they will lie to you and are quite uncooperative. Overall, completely avoid visiting here. There are tons of properties in jim corbett which are way way better than this and offer much higher value for money. This is basically a property where they have a very professional wrapper around it, but inside it is nothing. Excellent product packaging, but the product itself does not deserve even half the tariff of what they are charging.

Hotel is very good staff here is very friendly always willing to help u out. Property is very clean and rooms sizes are good and are very clean and food is very delicous. Overall very good and homely expirence.

It's a small property having only 6 rooms, ideal for one huge family. It's about 3-4 km from ramnagar but it's a narrow rough road to the property. The staff with mr. Naveen leading in front provide a warm welcome and great hospitality. The chef, mr. Pandey prepares delicious food but i would recommend opt of indian dishes, especially their pahadi chicken and murgh methi. They also offer barbeque and bonfire on chargeable basis. The rooms are spacious and cozy. It was an amazing and comfortable stay overall. Perfect for a weekend in the jungle away from the concrete jungle.

Nice cozy property at a beautiful location in the forest facing a river stream. Staff is also very polite and cooperative. It was surely a memorable stay.

8 km away from the ramnagar city. Property is surrounded by pure jungle along with river in front of the property. Resort is full of greenery. The resort is echo-friendly as they don’t use any plastic in the property instead of plastic they use jute & wooden item such as jute door matt, indoor sleeper made with jute etc. There is also a tea time from 5:30 to 6:30 made on chulla (angethi) on real time in the garden and serve you with snacks such as pakora n all. You can enjoy a peaceful memorable stay at vanvilla.

This place is on the bank of a small river and is just peaceful and beautiful. It’s cut off from the rush and crowd of jim corbett. Has these beautiful rustic rooms. But most importantly the staff is really warm, helpful, honest and courteous. The food is homely and utterly delicious.

It's a beautiful property, which you would love for sure. Right in front of the property is a river streak, which you can actually cross by walking. Beyond the river is lush green jungle. With no network, it's a good hideout place. But the real sham are the caretakers. While they are sweetspoken, but deeds are not really upto the mark. I booked the costliest room in the property but the fan had a rattling noise, which they couldn't fix even after 2 days. The cable tv was not working and could only start after 2 hrs post complain. But the worse is the chef surrender - who tries to be oversmart. He is sweet to speak to, with a genuine pahadi smile, but he tries to be overs-mart with his cooking. When we checked in it was lunch time - we ordered a loo gob-hi and dal for lunch. He told us a loo gob-hi would take time, as they prepare only fresh food on order. But surprisingly the food was ready in notime. What we found out was that he mixed fried potato and gobhi in the leftover curry of some other veggie. So instead of a dry aloo gobhi served across india we had a a loo gob-hi with butter pane-er gravy. Well we were hungry so we are it. Next morning we ordered egg curry for lunch and found that mr. Surrender was preparing kadhi for a bigger group, so he mixed kadhi curry into boiled egg and served us as egg curry. Can you imagine a egg kadhi! we literally shouted on him and then he gave us another egg curry little better prepared using the same eggs. But loved the stay.
