Review Of The Shillong Club RESIDENTIAL

Lovely location, good rooms with decent amenities and food was also good. My only complaint is guest service. Have a few instances and one of them being that I had asked for the WiFi password and was told that someone would be sent to the room to help with the same but no one turned up. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Very difficult to find the hotel as there is no hoarding or anything and reception is at 1st floor where we have cross whole passage and walk up the stairs. The cottage which was most expensive room they had was pathetic , unhygienic and even the bathroom was soo bad. Completely ruined our trip as we checked in late so we didn’t have any other options and so we checked out early in the morning, only stayed for few hours

Location is very good. Breakfast decent. Clean rooms and bathrooms, but otherwise quite shabby. Staff very well behaved and courteous.

The rooms were claustrophobic, they have no concern for guest comfort as just beside they were having some party arrangements for next day and the whole night there was noises.

The location is excellent, great food, value for money but amenities need improvement and service as far as house keeping was concerned was good. Buffet breakfast needs massive improvement specially one waiter has tremendous attitude & treat guests with arrogance if asked to serve warm food as if we customers are given free food . We have paid for the breakfast nothing is free in this world.

The Suite was good....But the Bathroom was not good...As there was lack of Hot water...That was inconvenient as Shilong is a cold place...So couldn't maintain proper hygiene of family...

My stay, specifically in Cottage 21 suite, was decent overall. The accommodation had a rustic charm, with an old-style cottage feel. However, it lacked any significant frills. A major downside was the restaurant being under renovation. Otherwise, a good stay at a historic place.

The cottage was very spacious,clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the stay and the food. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Rooms are dated, service is just ok Restaurant was under renovation hence breakfast was provided in room which was served cold.

My stay at The Shillong Club Residency was quite nice. The room was really really good, the staff was helpful. The room was very clean. There was a little bit of an issue with the cold water and hot water in the sink but overall the stay was really really good. The food quality was really good. Overall stay was excellent.
