Review Of The Fort Mercara

Overpriced hotel.Did not have basic amenities such as lift and water bottles in the room. Rooms are not cleaned everyday and the entire hotel is dirty and dingy.

The hotel is at a prime location, room is OK, services have to be improved, intercom is not working, service response is not up to the mark.

I felt insecure during my stay because the door lock in one of the rooms was not working, and the window lock in the same room was broken.

The staff are cooperative and helpful. Food is excellent. Room and washroom are reasonably clean. The hotel is close to Bus stand. I had a wonderful expensive

The location is very good. The fort is very near. Raja seat and Omkareswar Temple is also not far away.Clean room with clean bedsheets.Clean bathroom but no slippers provided.Food was good but only 3 items were available for breakfast. Reception desk polite and helpful. Nice stay

The hotel is in the heart of the town. Good staffs,nice hospitality.But one thing I have to say that before alloting the rooms, please check all amenities in the room are working properly.Put sleepers for utilities.

The property is right opposite Madikeri Fort but not at all a 3 star property. The Towel had Hair in it, the bed sheet and blanket seemed like it was not washed properly and was smelling too.

Property is in prime location with bar and restaurant. Hotel staff are polite and humble. Food is excellent.

Excellent stay.....the location is middle of town and very close to the market.....you can get cabs and auto very easily......the food was very good and the staff very cooperative......overall a fantastic experience

Location is very good, middle of the city, food is decent, service is decent. Overal 3.5 / 5 rate. Nearest places to visit, Mariamma temple, Omkareshwara temple, raja seat city centre all within 10 mins distance. Tala Cauvery is an hour's drive from here

It was good. premium ac room was very spacious and has very good mountain view. Its in the center have accessibility to many restaurants staff was good. food is also good.

Executive room that we stayed in were clean, their restaurant food was awesome, proximity to attraction was another icing on the cake..My family and I had a pleasant and comfortable stay here

The rooms were super clean and well maintained, the location is also awesome, overall a good experience but they believe in cost cutting in complimentary breakfast during weekends/holidays as there are more number of bookings, they provide such a bad breakfast that if feels like you are eating it somewhere on street, really bad quality of stuff was provided, but during week days or when there are less number of bookings, ala carte was there instead of buffet and the food was also good. Other than that it is mentioned that they will provide high tea at the time of check-in, but nothing like that was provided, on asking about the same they answered that MMT people themselves have mentioned that we don't have a complimentary drink option.
