We were on a road trip and decided to stay at Hoysala Village Resort and explore the Heritage sites- Chanakeshava temple at Belur and Hhoysaleshwara temple at Halebidu which are not very far from resort The resort is a peaceful escape from the city! The resort’s traditional architecture, warm hospitality, lush greenery, and delicious food made our stay truly memorable. Great property, very well maintained and clean. Good food & peaceful ambience. The best part of staying at the resort is the warm, friendly and very caring staff. Ashwini, Harish & Manjula are friendly, helpful and always smiling and engaging. The housekeeping supervisor Basavaraj is doing a great job and is always ready to help with anything we needed in the room . The staff in restaurant is also very courteous and helpful . Manoj , Gautam , Bharath and JK made our dining experience seamless. And to add to this , both the musicians were fabulous and entertaining. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality—it truly set the pace for a memorable visit. The rooms have a traditional look and feel with elegant wooden furniture and poster beds offee . . Highly recommend in having WIFI in the rooms for people to work in the room We were thoroughly impressed with the traditional Malnad breakfast spread—it was extensive and delicious and an interesting experience We were given a traditional farewell and accompanied out in a traditional Karnataka way with haldi, kumkum, glass bangles and a cloth piece(a typical kannada ritual) and some farewell goodies. Kudos to all the staff starting from entrance, reception, house keeping, music team and food management team everyone took care of us so wonderfully and we indeed had a wonderful experience staying at the beautiful property . We will certainly be visiting again perhaps for a longer stay next time! Thank you to team Hoysala 👍🏻

Exceeded All Expectations! From the moment we arrived at the resort, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that set the tone for our entire stay. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, relaxed, and completely taken care of. The ambience was nothing short of magical — a perfect blend of natural beauty and thoughtful design. Whether it was lounging by the pool, walking through the serene gardens, or enjoying a garden view from our balcony, every moment felt like a scene from a postcard. The food deserves a special mention — absolutely phenomenal! Each meal was a delightful experience, with a variety of local and traditional dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and impeccable attention to detail. From breakfast served in plantain leaf to buffet dinners, the Flavors were vibrant and the presentation was always top-notch. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the overall hospitality. There’s a genuine warmth in the way everything is done here, making it feel less like a resort and more like a home away from home. The village tour accompanied with Mr. Suresh, every staff remembered our names, our preferences, and were always a step ahead in anticipating what we might need. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape, a family retreat, or a peaceful solo recharge, this resort is an absolute gem. We left feeling refreshed, spoiled, and already planning our next visit. A Peaceful Heritage Retreat with Room for Improvement Hoysala Village Resort in Hassan is a charming getaway nestled in lush greenery and traditional architecture, blending heritage with comfort. Rooms: Spacious and thoughtfully designed, the rooms reflect local culture with antique furnishings. The beds were comfortable, though better soundproofing between rooms would enhance privacy. Amenities: The resort offers a variety of amenities including a pool, spa, cycling paths, indoor games, and serene gardens. The Ayurvedic spa offers affordable treatments. However, the changing rooms could use an upgrade, and adding a small fitness center would benefit health-conscious guests. Hygiene: Cleanliness was consistently maintained across rooms, dining areas, and public spaces. Food & Beverage: The restaurant served flavorful Karnataka and North Indian cuisine, with a generous breakfast spread. Unfortunately, the bartender was undertrained and unaware of drink options. A printed drinks menu and basic training would improve the experience. Staff & Service: Overall hospitality was warm, but check-in was delayed and luggage was left unattended for over 40 minutes. Better front desk coordination is needed. Final Thoughts: A beautiful retreat with great potential. Small improvements in service, facilities, and cultural engagement (like local folklore evenings) could make it exceptional

We've uncovered a hidden gem - Hoyasala Village Resort! This luxury resort exceeded our expectations with its exceptional amenities and outstanding staff. The team, led by the owner Mr. Ravindra Alwa, Harish, Ashwani, and others who unfortunately I don’t remember the names of, treated us like family, making our New Year's celebration truly unforgettable. The owner's personal touch and interaction with guests set a new standard for hospitality. The food was authentic and delectable, with a wide range of Karnataka specialties that left us spoiled for choice. We highly recommend Hoyasala Village Resort to anyone seeking a cherished resort experience that will leave you feeling valued and pampered.

We had a wonderful family stay at Hoysala Village Resort. The peaceful atmosphere, clean rooms, and great food made our visit very enjoyable. This is our second visit to the hoysala village resort, and we had an amazing time as always. The hospitality at hoysala is impeccable. We absolutely enjoyed their big dinner buffet spread with several traditional dishes and the breakfast plantain leaf service was very unique and equally delicious. The rooms are spacious yet cozy, and well maintained. We'll definitely be visiting again soon.

Loved every minute spent at hoysala village resort. Staff was very welcoming and polite throughout, special call out to harish, manjula, ashwini, bhagya for keeping us engaged throughout our stay there. Food and entertainment were great. Rooms were very clean with all necessary facilities. Ambience was elegant. This is a perfect stay to relax with your loved ones.

Excellent location for exploring the belur and halebid temples. Spacious room with all amenities- except no wifi in the room. Food was very good with many choices. And finally, very friendly and welcoming staff. A wonderful experience.

Despite being in a remote area, the property is very exotic and cozy... The concept is really nice... The food was amazing which is worth the package... The staff is very friendly and very welcoming...

We had a comfortable stay.Staff was very friendly and cooperative. Amenities were good. Food was tasty and they served a good variety.Wifi connection in the rooms was not awailable.They provided us the router,however connection was not that good.

Very neat and clean property. All the staff at the resort were very courteous. Food at the in-house restaurant was very good, serving local cuisine. They also assisted in the local sight seeing.

The cleanliness, service, and ambiance are outstanding. However, we believe the property falls short in being child-friendly, and when compared to other luxury resorts, the rooms lack certain amenities such as hair dryers, bathing kits, and combs. The food, on the other hand, is exceptional.

MY STAY AT THE RESORT WAS TRULY EXCEPTIONAL. FROM THE WARM HOSPITALITY TO THE PEACEFUL SURROUNDINGS, EVERY DETAIL WAS THOUGHTFULLY EXECUTED. THE STAFF WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ENSURE MY COMFORT, AND THIS LEFT ME FEELING REFRESHED AND EXUBERANT.
