Location is good but it doesn’t matter when you are not able to provide a service. Rooms are very small not more then 2 people can be their at a time and also dirty washroom electricity issue they will not switch on the generator until they is to much required and last but not the list the fungus were their in kettle and when we asked him to provide me different kettle they asked me to wash and use

Location is good, at front of ghar no 2, parking problem, you have to do paid parking near by. Outside view of is not attractive. It is guest house. Lake view room is our room which has good interior. Wash room is average.

Except its location this hotel is nothing. There was no room service, frequently power cut issue, even you cant charge your mobile during power cut. Power back up only for room and toilet light. You cant ask them for a tea even. Though there is a good veg restaurant just in their ground floor. We had to carry our luggage at the time of check out. It was 9am and hotel staffs were sleeping that time! pathetic service!

Sun n shade, room is nice, have all the facilities like hot water, geyser, bed warmer. For getting meal there is a restaurant beneath the hotel. Overall experience is good. Recommended.

The location is excellent, the view from the window of the room is marvelous. Everything is nearby and the guest house also has a good food joint below. Don't go by the external look of the guest house it really good from the inside. It also has ac which is not a common feature in the hotels of srinagar

Though the room was in second floor, it was a very comfortable and ideal stay for us. Nice room opp dal lake, near dalgate, good food, active road, safe place, very very convenient.

The guest house was super amazing. All the staff was very cooperative. Whenever, i will travel to srinagar, i'll 100% book this again. Thank you for the great service.

So bad experince in that hotel staff is soo baad there is no parking for car

The hotel is right in front of the bank of dal lake and you can take shikara from the gate of hotel so the location is very very good and it's restaurant is very good. There's market just outside of the hotel and i would strongly recommend to do your shopping from there itself. (caution: do not buy from minabazar they will loot you terribly.

Hotel is not up to the mark, room has not a hanger, room is too small

I stayed for one night. Location is good. Service and cleanliness could be better. I had opted for complementary breakfast but they weren't able to provide because of lack of staff/kitchen issues. But to be fair, they paid the bill for the breakfast we had then at the nearby punjabi dhaba. If one wants to really stay near dal lake and he/she is out of options, then this hotel can be considered.

Location is very good near to restro, near to lake and market. Boukevard road ghar no. 2. Full day you can see rush of tourist and all view from balcont is awesome. Deluxe room was good, big enough cleanliness can be improved bit otherwise breakfast and service was great.

Sun N Shade Guest House in Srinagar is an awesome hotel. They had all the facilities well maintained and a restaurant just downstairs which provide great food. Though the room we had did not provide us with any view but is quite a comfortable one. The hotel is quite good to stay in.
