Dear MakeMyTrip Support Team,
I am following up on my earlier email regarding my booking at Saltstayz Select – Nehru Place & New Friends Colony for 15th August 2025 – 16th August 2025.
I reached the hotel at 12:45 PM and inspected the rooms. The conditions were unacceptable due to:
Strong foul smell in the rooms.
Presence of mosquitoes and flies, making the stay unhygienic and uncomfortable.
After checking the rooms, I informed the reception that I wanted to cancel the booking and request a refund. The receptionist acknowledged my dissatisfaction, mentioning that “I am sure you must not have liked the rooms because this is our 3-star property, whereas our other properties are 5-star.” He further advised me to send my request to MMT for the refund, and he would proceed with the booking cancellation from their side.
This entire process took about 30–40 minutes of my time. During this, I also called MMT customer care to resolve the issue immediately.
Since the booking was cancelled at the property on the same day without availing the stay, I request you to initiate my refund on an urgent basis under your service and quality commitment.
I would appreciate a prompt confirmation of my refund initiation.
