A beautiful resort nestled in the midst of a lush green valley, offering a perfect ambience for a peaceful family vacation. I booked a couple of rooms through MakeMyTrip after watching several YouTube videos and reading positive reviews. However, upon arrival, I was quite disappointed to learn that the “Deluxe Rooms” shown on MMT were actually located on the underground floor. With elderly parents accompanying us, I would have preferred ground or first-floor rooms to avoid climbing. The rooms we got were comparatively smaller than those on the upper floors, which made the high room tariff feel a bit unjustified. That said, the rooms were clean, well-maintained, and still offered beautiful hill and valley views. Location: The resort is about 1.5 hours away from Munnar town, situated deep in a serene valley. The 360° view is truly picturesque, but guests should plan their sightseeing well in advance due to the distance from major attractions. Amenities: The property features a nice swimming pool and a well-kept kids’ play area, adding to the family-friendly experience. Food: Initially, I faced some delays in food delivery, but the issue was resolved promptly after raising it. Some dishes were excellent, while others were decent though not exactly as expected. Service: Excellent service overall. The staff and helpdesk were courteous, responsive, and very cooperative throughout our stay. Price: I personally felt that the underground rooms would be better priced around ₹3,000 per night rather than the ₹5,000 I paid. Conclusion: A great place for those seeking peace and relaxation away from the bustle of Munnar town. Ideal for a calm, scenic retreat rather than frequent sightseeing trips. Just note that being in a remote area, you won’t find many shops or facilities within a 3–4 km radius.

Special thanks to Justin, who ensured our appetite was well taken care of with enjoyable, delicious food. The location is 5/5 – peaceful, scenic, and truly refreshing. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable even though it’s set in a remote riverside location. The highlight was not just the 5-star rated swimming pool, but also the refreshing river bath — an experience that made the holiday extra special. Overall, it was a peaceful, happy, and enjoyable holiday for our family from Chennai. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend Riverra Inn to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Location was excellent and very good food. only issue is insects hope its because of rainy season. overall good peacefull stay and enjoyed

The staff were so welcoming and the atmosphere was incredibly peaceful. My family and I had such a wonderful time!

Bad

We booked a day before during peak season. Even then the arrangements were fine. Food is good in the restaurant. People are nice and helpful.

Best thing is the wonderful view of stream from the room balcony. A very good view of a waterfall is also there from the dining hall.

The location is very decent and on the bank of a river the early morning one will get spectacular scenery
