Pure Luxury, Comfort & Care Beyond Expectations
One of the finest luxury stays I’ve experienced, with an excellent view right from the room. The rooms were spotless, hygienic, and the entire property was exceptionally well maintained – truly pure relaxation. The hospitality was on another level. Mr. Manu Varghese gave us a warm welcome, shared valuable insights about the property, and made us feel right at home. Dining was equally memorable – the scenic restaurant setting with breathtaking views elevated the experience. Ms. Madhumitha and Ms. Erina served us during dinner and breakfast; they were sweet, humble, and guided us with the best menu choices. The food was outstanding – every dish was flavorful and memorable. The property also offers fantastic facilities – from early morning walks, cycling, and indoor/outdoor games to the stunning infinity pool that was simply mesmerizing. Overall, it was a perfect stay filled with comfort, class, and care. This resort truly goes beyond expectations – a luxury experience worth cherishing!

Heavenly views and superb staff. 5 star all the way
Stayed at Mountain Shadows resort for 3 nights , 5th to 8th September. The whole experience was superb. The location and views were to die for. The Cottage was superb and had fantastic views and all amenities one could hope for in a luxury resort. The staff, from reception to restaurant buggy drivers and housekeeping were superb. Nothing was too much for them and they always had a smile on their faces. The food was excellent and the buffet spread was superb for every meal. All in all a superb experience. Highly recommended!!

Excellent Stay
It’s a beautiful place to visit as the location is excellent which makes the resort a must go place. The resort is surrounded by three sides backwaters of Banasursagar dam. Rooms are clean and spacious with excellent views. Food is decent but there is a lot of scope for improvement with regard to choice and flavours.

A Hidden Gem in the Western Ghats
It’s one of the most serene and well-curated resorts I’ve experienced in Kerala. The location is simply stunning surrounded by the Banasura Sagar reservoir and framed by lush green hills, Once inside, the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty are instantly calming. The villas are beautifully designed, offering panoramic views of the reservoir, waking up to the sight of mist rolling over the water and mountains was magical. Privacy is well-maintained. The in-room amenities are high quality and the overall upkeep was excellent. The restaurant offers a mix of traditional Kerala cuisine, Indian and continental options. The quality of ingredients and taste were consistently good, though the menu could benefit from a bit more variety for longer stays. The service was outstanding. Every staff member we interacted with was courteous, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. Overall an excellent place for vacation.

Our recent stay at Mountain Shadows resort was truly exceptional, leaving us with memories we'll cherish! Right from the moment we arrived, their welcoming gesture was simply awesome – a truly heartwarming start to our vacation, set against a perfect location. The entire experience was seamless, thanks to the impeccable service and stunning facilities. Our room was not just comfortable but beautifully appointed, offering breathtaking views. We even witnessed all types of weather, which added a unique charm to our stay. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond, always with a genuine smile and a proactive approach, making us feel incredibly valued. The food was simply delicious, and the complementary evening teas and breakfast were also awesome. What truly elevated our experience to unforgettable, however, was something unexpected after we checked out. We realized later that I had accidentally left a dress behind in the room. Before we even had a chance to call, the resort team, without any prompting, surprised us by couriering it directly to our home! And what's more, they did so without taking any extra charges. A must visit place for Rejuvenation!
This place is worth the drive (even through the last stretch of 2-3 km is really painful). The hospitality, food and scenic beauty are top notch. Special thanks to the naturalist, Mr. Kiran for the nature’s trip. He was very courteous, responsive and showed us endemic birds and insects of the place. A must visit! Also, thanks to Sajini, our host during our stay. She was also highly responsive and took really good care of us. Kudos to Moutain Shadow team 👏🏼

Excellent Stay
We had an amazing time here, the staff was amazing and the views at every corner was a breathtaking frame with mountains & the Banasurasagar reservoir... The room was big and had great views(balcony).. Food was great but a bit on the pricier side(average 600-700 INR per item), and there is no option to have any other food because the resort is located in a remote area and going out for anything is a hassle (especially because of the long off road ) , but you wouldn't want to leave the comfort of this resort anyway untill checkout.
