Don't expect anything other than room. It is just a hotel on the way to chennai from Pondicherry. Pros. on the road in ECR Cons Only one person to handle everything. The receptionist. When we entered check kettle for coffee. It is not clean and foul smell because of watee inside. Beach need to walk 2.5 Kms No food available at odd times. No nearby shops to buy anything. less Toilateries. Swiggy available.

Poor Stay
The only good thing was the rooms were spacious. Bt the room service was terrible. Often had to reach out multiple times just for basic things like water bottles. Restaurant menu was just for namesake. Very very limited food options. That also took more than 90 minutes & multiple follow ups to get delivered.

Super clean, very helpful staff, spacious room's value for money. They allowed us for early checkin and late checkout. They use clean the room and provide toiletries every day. Mr. Bhoopathi is very much helpful staff

Excellent Stay
Although a little far from centre of the town, the location is excellent near sea beach. My sea facing room had excellent view of the sea even from the bed. Food was very good, amenities were excellent and the most important was the polite and helpful behaviour of the staff specially manager. Had excellent stay

groupProperty is clean and at good location. Sea beach is 5 min. Walk. Checkin was delayed but they compensated with late checkout.

familyOverall it was a pleasant stay in the misty ocean. It is a new property and rooms are well maintained and clean. The food tasted really good with sufficient quantity and price point. It is near auto beach but auro beach is not one of the best beach there. It is a rather dirty beach. You can't swim there due to the strong current and sudden drop. The hotel staff were really courteous. Location is ok.

Good property, poor service
familyThe rooms are nice i. E. At par with 5-star properties and that's where all the good things end. The hotel advertised a lounge and a rooftop restaurant but both were missing. A big chunk of the staff don't understand and speak english or hindi, hence communication was a problem. The complimentary breakfast was really bad both options and taste-wise. The room service food tasted okayish but the portions were too low. The restaurant's operation hours was too short, they asked us to place dinner order by 9:20 pm. They had good wifi but we had to call reception every day to ask for some codes to log in to the internet.

Hotel is clean and we'll maintained. Food is good. Very close to aurobeach so good view. Also close to auroville township. They were not able to accommodate early check in due to being fully booked, so had to wait for a long time to get into the rooms. But overall good stay at misty oceans.
