Review Of Lakewood Resorts & Spa (26 km away towards Tapola lake)

Rooms are great but rest all things are bad 1. Food is not good 2. Service is slow, few folks are good like gm rishabh 3. Kayaking is not free 4. No sport activities 5. Jacuzzi is useless

The stay was good the place is nice. The road was not good. When we went the road construction work was in progress. At property valet parking would help and room service could be improved.

Great property, ample parking but food options are limited its bit far from mahabaleshwar so buy everything in advance.

The resort offers big spacious rooms along with seamless service by the staff. It is right on the banks of koyna backwater. Food was the biggest highlight of the trip, especially the buffet dinner was amazing.

Food average, as it is far way, no shops, free water bottles are 2 of 500 ml, it should be plenty, tea sugar pouches should be more

The location of resort is good and close to the koyana back water. However as the lake was dry didn't enjoyed the view. Connectivity to the mobile network is not available. Resort is providing free of cost quality wifi. The indoore games are not in good condition and only table tennis and car-am is their to play. Staff is very polite. Food quality is good. Swimming pool and ist hygiene was in horrible condition. Resort is not cleaning/recycling the water daily. Even during our stay of 2n3d not even once they recycled or cleaned water. Further ther were lots of flies/and insects were in sweeming pool and we ourselves required to clean the pool. The resort is suitable for 2 nights stay.

The resort is located on mahabaleshwar-tapola road. However there are no signboards indicating the directions. The roads are good. However we had to park our vehicle around 100mtrs from the resort for a duration of 2hrs as the single lane road was occupied by a truck carrying construction material. Pros: 1. Nicely build cottages 2. Ample parking space 3. Decent swimming pool 4. Good food cons: 1. Lake is completely dried up during this time of the month. So, you don't get the view which you had booked for. 2. Spa is not functional 3. Kids playing area is not available

No network zone, dirty pool, jacuzzi not working, massage not working, in steam room they have kept extra clothes, electricity coming and going every 5 minutes, indoor games only carrom and table tennis available. In table tennis rackets are broken and no ball is there to play. Location is very far away from mahabaleshwar, approx 1 hr drive and you cannot travel alone at night with family as it is a complete forest area. Think twice before booking this hotel. Also one more thing, you will get hot juice in the breakfast 😂

Location is too far difficult to travel and after stay for service, we are not satisfied. Rates are too high. It is not value for money. Commuting is very difficult. Lag of communication.

We stayed lake wood resort for three days with family, it’s resort blessed with full of nature, having very good ammenities, clean, calm, & quite, we feel nice peace of mind over there, excellent experience.

Beautiful location! cottages looking beautiful from outside! but the cottage provided for us was not that great! food is good. The karaoke night was good. Good staff! service was ok. Overall a good stay.

The location of the property is strategic, giving a beautiful view of koyna backwaters. Rooms were well equipped and very high level of cleanliness was maintained. I would highly recommend it for someone who is looking to spend peaceful time with family and friends.

Visited here to celebrate New years Eve, end experience was amazing. Cottages are very big and well designed. Food was tasty. Property is huge with lot of recreational areas with view of koyna river and mountains. Would love to visit again.

I visited this place in december. This place is average according to me. Room was not clean basic services of room were poor like water bottle i have never heard of brand water bottle which was provided not worth for 11k price. Very cheap shower gel and moisture was provided

The place was beautiful the location was lovely but it is extremely far from the city centre (it was mentioned during booking) so please ensure that you safely reach the resort before dark otherwise it’s an extremely risky drive in the dark. Food was decent, like a regular hotel food that makes you feel funny later. Staff was courteous but rishabh the guy at reception needs a bit more training on hospitality. Overall a pretty decent stay that gets brownie points only for the location.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. The staff was very proactive and courteous. The property is very well located by the bank of tapola lake. You have watch towers where you can sit and enjoy the picturesque view. You can also take a ride in the speed boats or do some water sports like kayaking. One thing they need to improve is provide some more varieties when it comes to morning breakfast buffet.

Don’t worry that there is no mobile network. Actually you must be away when you’re here close to nature. Awesome hospitality, cottages are great n value for money. Cook is authentic to make a best food. Over all 5 out of 5.
