Review Of Kurumba Village Resort (25 kms Away from Ooty)

Never even for one moment did i saw a staff without wearing mask and that says a lot about their commitment towards maintaining covid protocols. One of the best property i have visited without a question. First of all the location is an absolute delight a very tranquil ambience that you get in an isolated place. Most importantly the behaviour of all staff was impeccable. They were able to accommodate all of our specific requests especially the catering team. Tree top dining was another memorable experience for myself and my wife which we will cherish for a long time. I absolutely suggest this place for couples to. Visit atleast once

We opted for a 1 night stay in february. Loved the scenic location and the property in general. Food was could but could have been better. Staff training seemed inconsistent but they offer a good variety of activities. Overall a very satisfying stay.

We stayed just to experience this place. A decent stay! adventure activities not much!

We chose kurumba after looking at the fabulous reviews that it had received. And we were not at all disappointed ) my family and i had a great 3 days at kurumba where even though all the cottages were full, we still felt like we had the entire place for ourselves. Kudos to whoever designed the cottages layout. We had taken the suite cottage near the pool which had a terrific view of the hills and the forest. The sunrise and sunset were a sight to behold from the balcony. Spent a morning in the pool when the sun was at its peak so that the water didn't feel cold. The views from the infinity pool are insta-worthy. There is also a waterfall that can be easily accessed by a short walk or a buggy cart ride. Please spend quality time at the waterfalls. It's great fun for both kids and adults. Always maintain safety precautions at the waterfall though. Coming to food. Oh my godddd! variety and taste - top notch. There was no repeat dish in the 3 days we stayed there! quite an achievement for a buffet! and the endless bajji and pakoda and chai for evening snacks at the tea stall. Yummmmmm. The best part - the friendly, helpful and courteous staff. They made the stay feel so homely. Loved it. Will be back at kurumba next year!

Nice place to spend time with family 👪. feel lil worry about tariff. mandatory 3meals pack is no need. in covid time w/o s.pool & Spa this is costly.

Heard about this place from a friend. Their staff are excellent and are the assets of this resort. They were polite and warm in meeting all our requirements. For the resorts type of accommodation, it normally takes some time to get your request met but here it was like a five star services, we got all our requests fulfilled within 3 minutes.

Had a pleasant stay, food quality is very good, lots of variety, away from the city's hustle bustle.

Excellent place to have a fantastic getaway from the daily hustle bustle of a City Life. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would sure go back some day because the scenic view is to die for!
