Devashola Homestay exceeded all our expectations. The location is simply breathtaking – surrounded by lush greenery and serene landscapes overlooking the hills that make you feel completely at peace. The views from the property are nothing short of spectacular.At night the city of Coimbatore was visible from here in all beauty. The caretakers were warm and ensured everything was taken care of with good hospitality. Simple homely food was served which was good.The property feels rustic and quaint,clean and well maintained and from an era far bygone.Wifi facility was provided. However some minor drawbacks have to be pointed out,the location is 22 km from Coonoor town but it was definitely worth it.Also the road leading to the homestay from the main road was in bad condition so we have to ensure to reach there in daylight. If you’re looking for a perfect mix of tranquility, natural beauty, and good service, Devashola is the place to be. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Coonoor!

Location was very good. We could see wild buffalo around the stay and during our estate safari. Very good hospitality. Homely Food was cooked and served.

Lovely stay! Basic clean old style rooms but clean and huge bathroom. The view and sit out is breathtakingly beautiful with bisons valley view. Food is homely and delicious. The jeep safari and plantation walk were a highlight. Navin ensures all is smooth . Thank you

We were in need of a homestay which would allow us to cook for my son who is 1.5 years old and we found this stay. Since we are pure vegetarians, we saw this stay as the prime point as it doesn't allow non-veg and also drinks. Initially we thought the food that will be prepared would be a little spicy or whatever it is which will not be fit for the kid. But when we had the first meal we were sure that we are not supposed to prepare a separate food for the kid as it was as good as a home made food and opt for the kid too. Overall it was great and we enjoyed being there in the stay for 2 days. We didn't travel anywhere - we had a few indoor games which kept us occupied for 40% of our time and the remaining time we spent with the kid playing and roaming around the stay.

In the middle of 650acres of tea estate, this place is nothing less than heaven. Especially before 6am and after 4pm. Ull be above the clouds! frequent visits from wild squirrils. Indian gaur. They even have wild gooseberries around. Dont waste your time reading. Just book for whatever price they are asking. Its worth every penny

If you want to disconnect from the loud crowd and enjoy the hill side, this is your go to cottage. They have excellent care takers and amazing home style south indian food. Manager naveen and care taker ravi anna are the best.

Beautiful peaceful location in the lap of nature. Guest house is surrounded by greenery all around. In the morning the views of the valley and clouds glancing over the mountains is sight to relish. Well maintained garden and clean rooms. Morning walk of the tea estate is very nice. What could be better? evening snacks options can be improved, more parking space and camp fire.

An exceptional view and amazing staff made this trip to mango tree cottage at devashola a trip to remember for a lifetime. The solitude and quietness of the property was exactly the getaway we hoped for, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the home cooked food provided at the stay. Will definitely return!
