QUEEN PALACE COONOOR

Queen Palace is very nice home stay, surrounded by tea estates. Two rooms and one rest room is very neat and clean with complimentary breakfast. It is just 3km from Bus stand and Railway station. SIMS PARK is 5km. Toy train also visible from the stay. No car parking at Hotel, but can keep 50m away.

Hotel location was good near tea garden, staff behaviour was very good.overall everything was good 👍

Owner shows great hospitality. Room is spacious and clean. Blanket and towel are also clean. And there’s Hill view from the window and door. Also if you’re lucky you’ll se toy train from your window as well

Stay was good, got our breakfast in the morning 7:45am post requesting. Had only one washroom though for two rooms 4 people.

It was a short and nice stay, with a nice view of the tea garden and the hills, with the whistle of toy trains passing by occassionally

Rooms are clean. Food was good. But no specific 4 wheeler parking available for this stay, need to park on road side.

Location shown by Make My Trip is on National Highway but the actual location is on a side road 3.5 km far away. It takes minimum of 15 mins drive by car on uphill. Had I known this, I would have never booked this accomodation. I was given Room no 5, which is big but not well maintained and the bathroom bathroom in particular is small in width 2.5 ft by 11 ft. The wash basin is very small (12 inches) and not suitable for anyone. No shower for taking bath. Toilet jet is of plastic and leaking. windows of rooms have no net so unsuitable for opening as insects and spiders get in from windows. The care taker has overall good conduct but he is not a good cook, still he cooks your food which is obviously not upto the mark. same menu was repeated two days consecutively- Idley, sambhar and pongal. as a whole the owner is not serious about quality. Not worth paying 5K plus per night for this kind of home stay for any family. Urgently requesting make my trip to correct its location and have random checking of quality.

The location and food are good, had pleasant stay. Little costly for the services provided

Hot water facility was not proper

Car parking is a big issue, you have to park far away from the property, breakfast is very good, property is new and well maintained, Manager Mr.Kamesh is very much co-operative, overall a good stay

room cleaness was good. there is no parking. Home made breakfast very good. location 3.5 km from coonoor railway station

Everything is good. only is parking.. it's little too inside the villages. it's mentioned as 9 mins walk from coonoor railway but it's rather 15 mins drive by car.

The homestay was good the caretaker sent us the location within 1 hour of booking. The room was neat and clean the bathroom was also good the hot water was available wifi was available the bed was so comfortable for sleep and in the terrace the location is good for taking pictures overall the experience is excellent they book auto in the early morning because we caught the train for oaty if you go with family couple or group of friends strongly recommended
