A decent hotel in a prime location. Staffs are good and helpful. Room is spacious but I would give 6/10 when it comes to cleanliness.

Nothing to complain. The stay was fine. Located centrally. Note the hot water policy that is around 1 hour in the morning and evening and it is not flexible.

Very pleasant, Clean and neet. Actually i feel look like my home.

Kodaikanal is beautiful, but the taxi mafia ruins the experience. They block bike rentals and overcharge tourists. If you still plan to visit, stay near the bus stand. Hotels like JC Grand or JC Woodville Manor are better located — close to restaurants like Tava, Astoria, Truly Herbivore, and attractions like Coaker’s Walk, Bryant Park, and the lake. Avoid Kongu Residency if you want a peaceful and flexible holiday .

It was very good but the room was not ready as 10, but kindly they gave a room to refresh while waiting for the room to be ready. The only negative point would be regarding water. The timings for hot water are not practical. 7 to 9 am or 6 pm to 7pm. It is hard to be back that soon in evening when you came to explore the place and thus not being able to take a hot bath in the end of the day while the weather is cold is a vit frustrating. But the hotel was very clean.

Clean and good service. Parking area also safe, 100% safe for family.

Very worst facilities. The most basic facilities which are provided by the hotel were not given.

Hot water available only on certain timings not available the whole day atleast timing could be changed. Room stay and service only average not worthy of cost

Unfortunately, my stay this hotel was disappointing. The prices were exorbitant for the services provided, leaving me feeling overcharged. The client relationships were strained, as the staff seemed indifferent to guest needs and concerns. Additionally, the overall maintenance of the hotel was lacking, with cleanliness and upkeep issues apparent throughout my stay. It was a regrettable experience that did not meet my expectations.

Good clean rooms. Parking facility etc. Very near to lake. But mentioned contact number in the booking voucher not working.

In this budget the facilities provided was good. Hot water timing and neatness are good. They are providing spacious room.

The room was perfectly clean. Bathroom was clean and tidy too. Hot water was available at particular periods in morning as well as evening. There are two tea stalls, multiple hotels adjacent so finding food wasn't a problem and the food was excellent too at the nearby hotel. They suggested me places to visit, but i wasn't entirely confident about my driving in this terrain, so i asked if i can get a cab from somewhere, turns out they also have a travels and offered us sightseeing packages with best price. Initially, they were hesitant to speak about the tour packages, given the fact that we arrived in our own car. I don't think we could have possibly seen this many places and the forest if i drove by myself. The driver they assigned for us, anish, was very accommodating and friendly. We almost became good friends. The manager, staff and the owner were very kind and were eager to help and assist us in anyway possible. I have stayed in many hotels, homestays across tn, ap and kl states. But this was one of its kind. If i am going to visit kodaikanal anytime after now, i am not going to look anywhere else than kong residency after this wonderful experience our family has had.

Rooms are spacious, but not clean and beds and blankets are smelly, we face water problem for bathing

Staff behaviour was good. Found room neat and clean. But there was no stand hanger for clothes in room as well as in bathroom. No wall clock in room. Rest ok for stay.

Average experience. Cleanliness and ambiance average. Service is better. No paper, no soap, no shampoo. Quality hotels are far away.

It is good stay, hotel staff are helpful & help assist in trip & location to see. It just a request hot need to start at 6. 00 am delay in hot water makes to delay to start at morning

As per manager all rooms have similar flush tanks! hardly one litre water passes per flush and don't carry any soil out! terrific service by manager asking us to cancel room overall this hotel is not for tourists coming from cities!

Good rooms with clean atmosphere, and also staff are very humble the only thing is in side of the room always in chillllllll condition only
