Review Of Hotel Volga Main Market Pahalgam

It was a pleasant stay . Staffs are quite cordial. Food was also nice, overall experience was very good at Volga.

Our stay was quite good at Volga as the hotel is located in the main market with a beautiful garden overlooking the scenic mountains of Pahalgam... As far as rooms are concerned,they are neat and tidy and the air conditioner works really well on the heat mode when it's chilling cold at night. But for the washrooms,I would definitely like to suggest a renovation as the washrooms are too outdated with a basic old fashioned comode which was not very clean,just okayish,the wash basin has a tap that is bigger than the basin itself and most importantly please I beg people to demand handwash in all hotels and resorts of Kashmir,I really don't understand why there is no concept of including handwash in the toiletries provided by the hotel. At least after Covid people have become cautious to provide but to my disappointment,I didn't get any even after requesting the person on the reception,he blatantly refused to provide one,So I've got major issues with hygeine when it comes to a toilet and bathroom so I'm even ready to pay extra for a handwash. Also,I booked a room with breakfast included so our breakfast was really really good. The stuffed parathas were to die for and the upma was extremely comforting...so full points for breakfast,room and garden but a lot of improvement is needed in the bathroom.

It is Centrally located in Market with big garden and beautiful mountain view. Rooms are nice with all wooden interiors. Food was tasty as well

block C rooms located close to central heating room where from smoke /exhaust/noise enters inside the room making it unhygienic and suffocating for guests. the litter, scrap and trash is also found outside these rooms, no pleasant view.

I was there two months ago and visited there again yesterday. The place now feels like a home to me. My toddler loves to run around in the garden. Staying in the rooms in the deodar block feel like travelling back him time. Also the location is most convenient. Right in the main pahalgam market. One thing they can do is renovate some of the older cottages and use them as well.. I would love to stay in one of them... Hope to be back soon

Excellent stay. Excellent staff thanks to Lateef, ishfaq, irfaan for a comfortable stay. The property was also serene with a amazing view of the hills both from the garden and rooms.

I stayed here for one night in the winter month of November. While the property seems beautiful and very centrally located in Pahalgam (right in the middle of the main market area), there were some major issues. They switched on their central heating system only at particular times in the day which made the room extremely cold at certain times. Also, the hot water is only available at fixed timings so you need to wait for it. The washroom was not very clean and well maintained. It is just okay for one night stay but not very pleasant.

First of all i would like to highlight that there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room, the back side of the hotel is merely covered by a tin sheet instead of a proper wall and at the same time there is a window on that side as well. The washroom wasn't very clean in fact it was smelling bad

Location of the hotel is excellent Staff is caring and carcourteous service is excellent Room heating is very good even when the outside temperature was 2 degree However there was not a single almirah, cupboard which makes the stay little uncomfortable overall stay was good

Nice place at the center of tourist attractions. Nice rooms and decent food. The only concern I have is they don't give food in restaurant unless you opt for the buffet included in the booking, which is bad and wrong.

Hotel has a beautiful view and good rooms provided with bed heater . Food was good but they are limited buffet services so that’s a downside for me because it was a bit expensive . Overall it was a good experience.

The hotel is at the heart of the market with picturesque view all around. The staffs are cooperative in nature.

Our stay at Volga was comfortable and the food service provided was excellent. The room was kept hygienic and the room heater made our stay comfortable and pleasant. Keep up the good work !!
