Review Of Hotel Varun

Located just 1km from railway station, we had a pleasant experience staying here.

About to stay is normal, location is good and food is too bad.
Food is very terrible. Food taste is very bad.

Good food, available on call and good service.
Well maintained. Thanks. Good room service. Friendly atmosphere.

Hotel and room were well kempt and clean. Good welcome with prompt staff, reception, and service. Sattvik food was a real plus point. The only negative point would be that hotel does not offer laundry 24 hours and laundry is weather dependent.

Services were ok but food was expensive.

During cold season as a benefit instead of air-conditioner one should have room heater option.

The hotel staff was good and helpful. The room was good but the food was not up to standard. Rest all was satisfactory.

Hotel Varun is strategically located near main Katra Mall as well as is away from the Mall Road hustle bustle. Hotel management was cooperative in nature and were pleasant to deal with. We were given proper guidance for Maa's journey. Proper detailing was given with respect to journey timings, duration and period of Aarti during which the temple is closed. Hotel ambience is very neat and clean and well suited for family travellers. Rooms are spacious with all basic ammenities. Hotel provides vehicles for transportation at a fair cost. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Recommendation for the management is to improve the room service TAT (food ), provide in house coffee and tea maker and upgrade their TV model/ cable connection (DISH).

It is a nice hotel as well as services, but location of hotel is not too good.

If it is few hours of stay before or after yatra then it is an ok place to stay because of its location otherwise the house-keeping and maintenance had not been up to the mark. I can say this because I stayed in this hotel 4 years back also and it was good then.

They can not find my booking. I had to provide them with the printout but still took quite a bit of time.

Jai Mata di Sanjay ji. Very good hotel, nice rooms excellent location near to railway station and market. Hotel provide pick drop facility for banganga, bus stand, railway station. Manager Mr. Sanjay a very nice and helpful man. He takes care of all the customers. I was there in last year June and I will be there in june 2018 again. Every my visit to Katra I always prefer this hotel. Thanks hotel varun and Mr Sanjay.

Rooms are not good not properly cleaned toiletries are not even available restaurant is not bad the good part is its transportation services to the helipad the front office manager is a good person and mr rakesh is also helpful.

Its very bad, very bad for the money they take. Toilet are stained and stains are un removable kind, they still offer CRT 14 inch TVs. Service staff is careless does mistakes multiple times. Rooms cannot be classified as cleaned and hygienic. We took the rooms for 2 days and went off for vaishno devi yatra and next day when we came back the room was not even cleaned or sanitized. Its not value for money for sure.

Excellent location and peaceful. Staff specially manager Shan and Sanjay are very friendly and take care of every small need. HAve been staying there almost every year. Rooms have been refurnished very nicely. Superb service in room. Truly value for money post offers from MMT. Would recommend highly to every one Great job .. Keep it up.

Rooms are good and airy. Room service is also very good. There is full support of the hotel staff and from the reception for any kind of assistance if required. Free pickup and drop facility is also awesome.

Room was spacious and clean. Cold and hot water was available in the room. Staff was cooperative. Location is 700-800 meter far from Yatra parchi counter. However the hotel provided vehicle for pick-up and drop. Due to non-profit availability or heavy rush our hotel was transferred to hotel Vishal, which was the same as hotel Varun. Nice experience ... Can be better

On of the best hotel in Katra... Staff are very friendly.. And the manager is too good.. Lovely hotel.. Pick up drop up facility to Babganga or station.. Rooms very clean and decent food.. Nice experience and would love to come back to Varun.
