Average Stay
We were 2 adults and 1child above 12 years, but the bed size in the given room was of a double bed good to accommodate 2 adults only. On asking the hotel staff about this we were told that extra mattress would be provided at a cost of Rs 500 per day. This is the first time we experienced this. In all your previous stays at other hotel bed size provided wss big, good to accommodate 3 focus. I will not recommend others to opt for this hotel.

one of the worst staying experience
it was nothing as claimed. the staff was not at all helpful and the rooms weren't clean . I have to ask the hotel owner to change my room because of the stinky smell coming from the washroom

Terrible stay
Upon arrival, we were told that ac is not in order and that acs are available in five star hotels only. After we insisted, the staff switched on the ac through mcb, revealing that it was functional. This was misleading and upsetting. Additionally we had opted for meals, but we were informed that only dal and aloo jeera could be provided. We ordered for vegetable of our choice and asked them to charge. Furthermore the entire premises had houseflies all over and the place was dirty and unhygienic, which spoiled our stay.

Poor Stay
At the reception desk staff behavior was very bad. First they offered some different room after that when we requested for a change of room, they denied very rudely.

Rooms in hotel shiva lake (cost of rs. 8000+ including tax) in mussoorie were too small and lacking basic amenities. So, hotel manager shifted us to another near by new hotel, the pine villa, that too having geyser pipeline problem and, no breakfast facilities for us, for breakfast purpose, we have to go to first hotel i. E. Shiva lake on roof top for having breakfast 2nd floor, open roof, no lift. Both these hotels are 7 km away from the main mussoorie mall road, where we can have all the facilities, good food etc. It is advised, no one should book these two hotels. Basic facilities and services are too poor. You will carry memories as "big regretted.

Not a place to stay
There was no electricity in hotel when we stayed. Random electricity cut happened. Geyser was not working. They don’t have courtesy to even provide water bottles in room.

Hotel shiva lake recommend; everyone should stay here. The staff is very cooperative and helpful. I stayed in an executive double bed room with balcony view. Food in very good, everything is very nice. Overall nice stay

Excellent Stay
Very good experience i had in a while. Good staff, very friendly and always keen to help you. The hotel is in such a nice location, you can have direct sunlight with a cup of tea and it makes your morning. 360 view, good budget hotel in this location. My pleaser to visit this hotel.
