Review Of Hotel Pong View

Stay is ok. Location and room service are the only plus point. Food, amenities and reception services not up to the standard. Upgraded room after paying extra and found that AC was not working in the upgraded room. Room lighting was very bad even though it was highest paid room of the hotel.

Hotel location is beautiful. Spent a nice weekend trip. Hotel staff is courteous. Food served is also good. Overall a wonderful experience.

Property location excellent..parking available( which remains an issue at most of hotels in himachal). Food good but little pricy.. The front desk staff were welcoming and helped me with local travel tips. Overall good experience..

Location is good, away from hustle bustle of the city. Market is 1 km away but you will find everything inside hotel. Good staff & good food. Go for Valley view rooms on Ground Floor & above, views are great from there & from rooftop restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pong View Hotel during a quick visit to Dharamshala, and it turned out to be a memorable experience. Initially, I booked a standard room which didn’t offer any view, but upon arrival, the front desk staff were extremely accommodating. A gentleman (whose name I unfortunately can’t recall) helped me upgrade to a larger room with a balcony and a breathtaking view of the Kangra Valley. The view alone made the stay worth it! I happily paid the difference, and the whole process was smooth and hassle-free. The Room: Spacious, clean, and comfortable with a balcony that offered stunning views. Waking up to the Kangra Valley every morning was truly magical. Dining Experience: We had dinner at the hotel, and I must mention their Lasuni Dal — it’s a must-try! It was my first time having it, and it exceeded all expectations. The food overall was delicious, though I did find the menu slightly overpriced. For those looking for budget-friendly options, there are nearby shops within walking distance where you can grab snacks. Staff & Service: The staff at Pong View were excellent. Special thanks to the front desk gentleman who made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was also commendable. Overall: Pong View Hotel is a fantastic place to stay if you're visiting Dharamshala. The friendly staff, incredible views, and quality service made our stay memorable. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return on my next visit to Dharamshala
