(39 PROPERTIES IN Dharamshala)
3 Star Dharamshala Hotels List - 39 Hotels Found.
Bad experience - bed condition was really bad, tea table were placed at the corner of the bed where you can't sit. Bucket and mug was on demand (shocking for me). Hot water wasn't available through shower. Lightning was poor very expensive hotel.
I want appreciate few staff those were really helpful and nice.
Great deal through makemytrip. Although, the hotel is bit far from the main square, but you wont mind walking that much as there is main market on way which you would visit anyways.
Decent, spacious and clean rooms and professionall staff.
A precall from Vikas to check whether I need any additional assistance reassured me that I have chosen the right place for my transit. He was so helpful and courteous on call that I really looked forward to meeting him! Amazing location with river flowing next to the balcony, can spot so many beautiful birds... Ancient Shiva temple at 2km! Simple and well kept rooms!! Very tasty food and decent breakfast spread!!
Rooms are comfortable with attached balcony having view of flowing river. Staff was courteous and helpful. Food was excellent having decent restaurant ambience. Only disappointment Wi-Fi was not available in rooms.
Overall satisfactory experience.
We got a luxury room. The place is under renovation hence a little inconvenient but the owner Mr Gandhi and his staff are extremely supportive. We could walk to all major places in about 20-30 mins. Food was good. They even arranged a full day sight seeing for us. ( Of course we paid). The Dharamkot cafes are 20 mins, McLeodganj market is 20 mins walk. The bhagsu waterfall is a 20 min walk. Excellent location.
This hotel offers you the best view of Bhagsung waterfalls, A great place to stay if you are visiting McLeodganj. The Rooms are soo luxurious you cannot expect anything more for what you pay. The owner himself if soo friendly person will be eager to help you out in every manner.
Too bad a location and no signboard at entry in front of multiple other hotels ... Room size is decent with room service OK types no complementary water or breakfast despite having higher coSt. Overall nothing great.
It was not same as shown online on Makemytrip 's site.
Front view of hotel was of different hotel but photos of rooms were of different hotel.
We booked hotel in McLeodganj but they shifted us in Dharamshala hotel.
Excellent property. Value for money. Food is very good. Rooms are neat and clean. Location is little problem. Difficult to find. Staff is very Co operative and rooms are very spacious and view is also awesome from room.
My overall experience is good not the best, location of the Exotica is excellent. Beautiful view from balcony which is really huge. You will get the best view from the second floor. Food is average not extraordinary and swimming pool is not at all clean, shocked to see complete green colour water. By seeing many reviews I booked this one, which I feel is quite over hyped.
We really liked the hotel. And staff was excellent. We got a lot of help from the hotel service and had an excellent stay. The room was really clean and the toilets were very clean also. I enjoyed a lot. I would like to advise everybody to stay here.
Easily accessible nice location. Staff is good and nice hospitality. If staying in Kangra you must choose this hotel value for money nice food menu also. Rooms were neat and clean with all amenities good to have a mini bar also. I would rate it excellent for its excellent services.
Good hospitality. Good room services. Helpful staff. Beautiful view in backside gallery and at rooftop of hotel. Value for money you will visit here for relaxing from busy life. I want to stay here again in next visit.
The valley view from hotel is just awesome. Wi-Fi is available, service is good, but worst part is food and that too pretty expensive. Will surely refer this hotel without food, the best season to visit is either from April to may or after August to avoid rush.
Rooms were clean and money paid off. Balcony view was nice and staff was good and co-operative. Though my room was small but due to attached balcony its was good. Weather was good and its nice place to stay again. Waterfall view can be seen through hotel.
We booked 2 rooms of same standard. However, the rooms provided were star kingly different in facilities and appearanxe. Expect for above, the hotel is in a Good location. The staff were cordial and Helpful. Food is decent .. Could improve on food quality and variety.
You can anytime go for this hotel. Everything is good. Specially the services. Friendly and helpful people. I got the room for 882 from MMT. Just one bad thing good is expensive and not that good. Though It does not take away all good things. Must go. All rooms are clean and good bedding.
The behavior of the staff was not good, poor service and costly too. LED & phone & wi-fi not working. I booked two rooms @ 2450 per room with an E-coupn discount of 2200, in short I booked two rooms @1450 approx but in the same day I booked One more room @1500 then what is the fun of E-coupn and advance booking if rooms available at same price I. E 1500.
A lot of hotels are located on khara-danda road which is a very steep road and a 400 m walk on this road will be a task. If you are driving yourself, you must be a very proficient driver to drive on this narrow steep road. But "M hotel" is located at the engineering of the khara-danda road, in the middle of the main market, and is reachable from a wide road( I guess it's a national highway). No need to trouble yourself with khara-Danda here. The staff is also friendly and helpful. You may choose a room for yourself if options are available, the staff was very nice to me in this regard. Tip: Park your vehicle in "the club house" adjacent to this hotel if you are travelling by your own car.
Room was okay and a little expensive. The main plus point of staying at this location was that it was very close to the main square and also very close to the Tibetan temple. There are better properties available if you are willing to adjust a little with the location.
Good ambience and room service. Location is also good it is an new property with friendly staff. I went to Dharamshala to watch Paytm one day series and returned back around 9 PM to the hotel. It was good experience.
Hotel staff was very helpful. The location was good but little difficult to get as road condition is not good. Food was good. Overall nice stay. Hotel staff arranged a cab for us for covering the tourist spots. Dalai Lama temple and market are also near by.
Location was a little far from main square but the facilities were awesome. We were upgraded to a deluxe room. The breakfast served was also good - limited but nice. The rooms were newly built and were very aesthetically pleasing. The balconies overlooked the mountains - great view!
The hotel was on the end of the hill road (last hotel). The only good thing was that there was toilet tissue paper in toilet without a dustbin and the shower was working. The phone and kettle were supposed to be there. We requested but the phone was not working and the kettle was given with open 2 tea bags and open sugar, no place to plug it.
TV remotes were not working, mosquito repellent was requested but was given only 2nd day. There was no almirah. Breakfast was complimentary. We were with 1 infant and another 4 years old, the milk was chargeable even in breakfast for them. No complimentary water bottle. Overall it was a bad experience.
It's average hotel. Location wise, it's too good. Infact you could prefer any hotel in Bhagsu would be good location. Manager is quite rude. We wanted to checkout 2 hrs delay due to our train timing but he asked to pay almost full day charge of hotel. After requesting several times, he didn't provide us room for 2 hrs more. Hotels had some vacant room but he refused our request. Remaining staff has good in nature and helped us to point sightseeing/ cab etc. Specially Anil (one of the receptionist) has very kind and helpful with tourist.
I used to book all my travel through make my trip but this time I faced a very bad experience. Hotel room rate was very less as compared to booking done via makemytrip. It was only of 1500/- but I was charged by MMT approx 2800/-.
Worst experience. Time to quit using MMT.
Hotel staff was very good. They arranged a bouquet and cake for me when. I requested for the same. Hotel is marked as a three star. I could not see a swimming pool. In general there appears to be a dearth of water in McLeod Gang.
WiFi wasn't great and so were airtel cellular signals.
Breakfast was basic but was good.
Hotel located near the some tourist attractions and 15-20 minutes from the main square. Lots of shopping areas around.
Hotel restaurant was good but takes last order at 10 PM.
Our room had a balance overlooking the valley which was nice. The room otherwise was not fancy but had everything you needed. The location is pretty good but not located in the heart of the market. Bc of that it is quieter but also requires a 10-15 min walk uphill or rs 100 taxi to bring you to the main market. The Dalai Lama temple is nearby which is located at the beginning of where the market starts. There is parking across the street. We got everything we were looking for and were happy. The rooftop restaurants are nice as well to enjoy the view.
It's not value for money. We encountered mouses (roaming above our head in the midnight) and had to get the rooms changed but the concerned authority had no apologies nor did they turn up asking for the inconvenience. There is no intercom service in the room and there is just a call bell, which will work if you're lucky. The interiors are okay but needs more maintenance work. The food served is hot and quite tasty though, but you'll not have any varieties. It's definitely not recommended if one is shelling out Rs. 6745/- for one night (only Breakfast meal plan) and they definitely need to upgrade their services or will loose out to competitors.
Very good stay... Also, the staff is courteous.
The Manager is very cooperative and personally takes care of the people visiting Dharamshala and McLeodganj. The local tour was also arranged by the hotel at a minimum cost. Really value for money.
We stayed in super deluxe room... It was nice room hotel staff was cooperative but hotel had limited staff so their service was slow.. However it's a value for money.. Location is awesome right on main temple road near Dalai Lama temple.. But if you want more spectacular views from your room window go for higher category of room and also don't expect any other facility like gym etc... There are only rooms and a nice big restaurant and lobby in hotel.. Overall I give it good rating.
First it's the best hotel in McLeodganj no comparison with others.
Number of facilities are over here.
First most important is car parking it's there.
Second good rooms.
Nice staff they upgraded in me suit room which is marvellous even I don't require but they offer me.
Location is on prominent area everything is near market and dalai lama mandir its near by.
Food is good quantity is little bit less but have art to make good chef is there.
Nice hotel located in Naddi... Bear in mind this is not in McLeod Ganj or Dharamshala main. Its a new construction and it shows up in the cleanliness. Nicely decorated rooms and most importantly, clean bathrooms. Good food although the tandoor items are not available for lunch - not a deal breaker at all. Definitely recommend.
Although the hotel is bit off the main McLeodganj market, it has been maintained very well. Far from the market makes the stay peaceful, the con though is no eateries nearby. I got it a little expensive as booked very late but it was good for category it belongs to. Small yet neat and well maintained property. Also the service and staff is pretty upbeat.
Location is good but food at breakfast time very poor quality. I was stay there for 2 days, I complaint ist day but 2 day problem was still there, all guests are complaining at that time. Even tea was not good.
Roof was leaking, no one attended despite repeated complaints. No room service between 10. 30 pm to 7. 30 am not even electric kettles provided in rooms. Worst experience. A C tripped in middle of night no one responded repeated calls
I was travelling with my wife and daughter, I felt so in secured that I had to check out same day only. They have a pool and a bar any outsider can use that pool by paying 100rs per adult and 50 Rs per kid. It looks like a open bar than a hotel. If you are travelling alone than only you can think of staying there. The location of the hotel is quite far from Dharamshala, it's almost 20 kms away from the main city on the chamunda road. Only nice thing next to the hotel is Norbulinka, it is a Buddhist Garden and Gallery.
Location was good but the hotel allows outside people as well for various activities such as swimming and gym which takes away the peace for which we have taken the vacation and creates mess in the resort. The rooms were also constructed in such a way that there is not much privacy.
Superb location, extremely clean and hygienic rooms, polite staff, delicious food, excellent property. Only poor connectivity to hotel worst roads. The location is good. Overall good stay we can say.
Everything was exceptionally good. Enjoyed the view and time spent there. Food and service were good. The only problem was WiFi was not available in the room and the TV was not working properly. This was a minor problem which can be overlooked with the other facilities available.
As per the room rent charged for premium category, standard of the room was not so good as shown in the website. Also the amenities provided in the room were not of good quality as expected to be specially the towels & bathroom fittings. Spending extra for more comfort would be useless.
Nice and pleasant rooms. Good service and hospitality. Reasonable prices. Requested for early check-in due to overnight travel. Hotel accommodated that.
Highly recommended for frequent visitors to Naddi
Staff is good. Food quality average. Rooms need renovation. Not recommandable. Not at all worth for cost. Accrual and website look totally opposite. I stayed in this resort in March 2016 will not advise anyone to stay in this resort. Not worth for cost. Charged 4200/- for one night.
Location is quite away from Dharamshala into isolated place and you really can not enjoy evening outing into city market. Food is just OK and so are facilities and cleanliness. Staff is courties and well behaved. Better avoid if you can find a place closer by to Dharamshala.
The wi-fi connectivity was not available in room. It's range was restricted only to the lobby. The TV in the room had no cable connectivity and the flush of the room was malfunctioning. However the behaviour of hotel staff was very good. The complimentary breakfast provided had hardly any options.
Hotel is located around 15 km from Dharamshala and 25 km from Mcleodganj. It is better to stay at Mcloadganj.
When tried to book a hotel in Dharmshala via makemytrip, almost all hotels were booked and could get couple of hotel available for booking and Hotel Sojourn was one of them. Booked it immediately at very attractive price and when checked in, was amazed to see the location of the resort. It was newly built resort and very good services. Situated near mountains and awesome weather. Food quality and test were very good. Very good resort for family also. I would recommend for everybody.
Must go for those who need peace. Service is good, you get a kitchen for basic cooking + microwave + RO + fridge. Views from terrace are mind blowing.. Extremely clean with very polite staff. All and all must visit place for a weekend to relax.
The view from the rooms is good. The road to get to the hotel is very narrow hence cars stop at the entry of the road. You need to walk up to the Hotel, and the climb up is quite steep so needs some effort.
Other than that the room and dining area was clean.
Koi Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff was good. For deluxe rooms one has to step up/down around 30 stairs which was a bit issue. One more thing only by hotel car you can reach hotel, so one has to walk around half a km on a steep road. Barring these two issues rooms. services and food was good.
One of the nice and clean hotel in Dharamshala as don't have much good options in Dharmsala but tariff is on little higher side but otherwise everything is nice of this hotel like location rooms and food.
The hotel is at good location just near the Dharamshala cricket ground, the view from the hotel is pretty good.
The hotel needs to work of food quality though variety is there but lack the taste. Market place is nearly 2 km from the hotel and 15 km from Mcleodganj.
If you are looking for peaceful location then this is the hotel for you. Don't expect Wi-Fi and other services to be good. Service is very slow. River point is a nearby spot which is amazing. You have to go there by walking it's kind of a small trek. Overall, location wise it's amazing hotel but it's a bit costly.
Went just a day back and was awestruck with the views the cottage had to offer. Perfectly located amidst the mighty Dhauladhars, bad facilities-No soap, no shampoo in washroom, tea kit without milk powder but the views overshadows these minute things. Verdict- Strictly recommended for those who love a secluded peaceful stay.
Hotel is very nice, I feel good to stay. Staff is good. Hotel is very clean. Location is superb but only name is centre point but a little far from market. Overall, great experience with this hotel.
Location was favorable for travel around viz Osho, Bir, Palampur. Much relaxed than Maclodganj. Food and rooms good. But rooms had no view of mountain. Food timings are rigid. Free meals but limited menu. Food quality excellent.
