I went to Koala Inn in June'25 in a group of 9 including kids and senior citizens. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend if you're looking for value for money. The hotel is located just about 300m from the main market but still not in a high traffic zone. A steep climb to the market ensures you remain fit. The hotel entrance is disappointing but the rooms are clean and spacious with all basic amenities like electric kettle and mini fridge. Bathrooms have a modern fitting which makes the stay comfortable. View from the room is disappointing with an under construction building blocking the view but is compensated by an excellent view from the terrace. The staff is extremely friendly. A special shoutout to Avinesh who often went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Kitchen staff will happily accommodate all food requests. The breakfast spread is good. Overall a happy and comfortable stay.

I stayed here for 1 night it was fabulous stay. Room was very neat and clean. Staff was very polite and helpful. Beautiful mountains view from rooms. Near to dalai lama temple. Highly recommended

Excellent property right in the Middle of McLeod Ganj. Hotel is brand new & had all the luxury amenities which one can expect in a five star hotels only. Staff is very helpful, always ready to assist you. Tourist spots like Dalai Lama temple, main square, cafe , restaurants all are nearby. Hotel has good space for parking which is a major worry for people coming to McLeod Ganj. My stay was super nice & I would definitely recommend this place for everyone.
