Review Of Hotel Padmam

I booked an AC deluxe room for my stay and had a terrible time. This doesnt even deserve one star. Refer to my comments and photos for amenties provided by hotel for an ac deluxe room and the decide whether to book this hotel. Hotel Padman is very near to Madurai railway station (around 600 mtrs) and Meenakshi Ammam temple.  As nearby area is very congested, Meenakshi Ammam temple will take around 10-20 minutes to reach i.e. south gate (depending on individual walking speed). Hotel is located in the market area, hotel entrance is blocked by bikes. You will have hard time to find a space to enter the hotel. With all your luggage, it will be very difficult to navigate between these bikes and find your way. In front of hotel you will find three big garbage bin and all garbage littered around. Once you reach hotel you will be surprised with Hotel amenties. Floor passage and room, including the bathroom, are in bad condition and in very bad shape. Bathroom stinks, room is swarmed by red ants and mosquitoes. Reception manager will listen to your issues and concern, resolve none. Best part of hotel is proximity to Ammam temple, lift, hot water facility, towel and flexi checkin facility but at this price range, there are many better hotels / lodges available nearby which will cost you less than this hotel rate.

Room is neat and clean and look is okay but bed is not most comfortable but it's okay to sleep , then bathroom wants to be cleaned properly,if they arrange for air freshener in bathroom means it's excellent for the guests to use it.water facility is not free in the stay ,if it is free means it will the best stay to us,....

Room was not clean. Toilet was broken

Hotel Padam, Madurai. Excellent location, walkable distance from the temple. Good neat and clean rooms. Well maintained.

Very basic hotel for stay. Need improvement in hygiene. Basic amenities like water and toiletries need to be arranged to guests.

The bathrooms were very un-hygienic. Although the staff is Cooperative, the rooms and cleanliness needs an upgrade. Also the hotel is at a very busy location with no parking facility. Had to pay extra for parking at a private parking lot

The bathroom. And toilet Cover are to dirty ...we cannot sit on the closet that much disgusting..,.

I stayed here for one night while visiting the madurai meenakshi amman temple. the temple entrance is very near walkable distance only, the room is average but spacious with small balcony, bathroom is good and hot water available, affordable stay,

neetness is very poor it is not up to the value don't select very poor amenities and service

Service is very poor; rooms are not kept tidy; bed spreads etc are not properly washed/ changed;

The staffs are much approachable. But the bathroom flush wasn't working properly. RO wasn't working too , flow of water was too slow The staff of the hotel were more approachable But in the bathroom the toilet flush and cold water pipe were not working properly There is no mineral water provided by the hotel instead we were asked to use RO available in the hotel but water flow was too low , not sure if it is working or not

room service is very poor , aro water is not working , no room cleaning, I stay three days but no cleaning room no towel change in three days

Property was good and neat for the paid amount We stayed for there for three days Recommended

It's a very average property. Ok for Bachelors. Not recommending for family.

Nice comfy stay with good cleanliness the host was very kind and well manered
