Review Of Hotel City View

First of all hotel is outside from Mall Road so below are the major issues- (1) parking for 2 wheeler/4 wheeler not available (2) hotel is on topside so you have to take the lift and have to walk wo much. (3) common acceseries like soap/ shampoo not provided (4) water shortage

Hotel was good and situated in the best place ..there are many places near where we can go shortly.

It's on an upper mall road and difficult to reach the hotel with luggage and it's not suitable for family and senior citizens. Conditions of the rooms are not good & poor amenities. It's suitable for solo budget travellers.

When we reached city hotel, they provide dirty rooms with low quality bedding. Even roof of room was of 8 feet height. No ventilation in the room. It was all over dark. No toiletries were provided. Even geezer to use was of time bound. When we approached for better quality room, Behaviour of all staff was very bad. All our experience is very bad and we have to move to cosmos hotel. Not recommended to any other. We didn't click the pics.

Location was really great. It was adjacent to mall road. Food was average not so tasty. Room service and front desk was splendid. Room was avarage. Water leakage and bad smell in washroom. Overall experience was good.

"deluxe room" view:9. 5 /10 room: woow, just woow. Beautiful hills, trees, shimla town view from balcony and from bed.

The location of the hotel is the best. 5 minutes to the ridge, christ church and 7 min to mall road. Jahku ropeway is 5 buildings away. Room is good and clean. Only drawback is bathroom. Low space and noisy. Ventilation fan and flush was not working.

Location is excellent, food was good. Toiletries and cleanliness need to improve. Overall good for budget.

Standard room is good and the view is great. A bit far from Mall Road like 800 m but its a straight up thing walking up and Downhill is a task specially with small toddler but all in all the staff is friendly the hotels good and the view is very good

Pros: (standard rooms) 1. 10 mins walk from mall road 2. Just 100 mtrs walk from jakhoo temple ropeway 3. View from terrace. 4. Decent food. 5. Cooperative staff cons: (standard room) 1. Rooms are excessively small and shaby, with dirty pillow and blanket covers 2. Geyser seldom works 3. Room service not available. 4. Poor network connectivity in rooms 5. You can hear the monkeys fighting and creating a ruckus in the middle of the night. 6. Not much option in menu for dinner.

Good room good service staff was friendly manager was helping any problem hotel nearby church and mall road

The hotel is just 7 minutes walk from mall road and 1 minute walk from jakhu ropeway. Manager jagdish ji provided us early check in at morning 5'o clock. Hotel food is good and reasonable priced. Room is clean and geyser is working too. Recommended hotel to stay in shimla.
