Review Of Gokulam Grand Turtle on the Beach

We recently stayed at Gokulam grand turtle on the beach resort Kovalam for our family vacation. We had really a wonderful stay at this place. All the staff members including pavitra, parvati, Geetha from house keeping and almost everyone at the restaurant we're all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They all made our stay memorable. Resort has a good swimming pool. Our view from the room facing the sea was just stunning. Breakfast and dinner buffet we're really excellent.

It was a really pleasant stay.. Room was nice. Ambience and staff support was also really good.Excellent staff and Good food.. Have to mention food, it was really good.. Overall it was a nice experience

The hotel has neat rooms and a nice view, but poor maintenance and a lack of professionalism pulled the experience down. When you spend this much on a stay, you expect at least a bare minimum of luxury—and that just wasn’t there.

Had a wonderful stay at Gokulam Grand Kovalam. Never experienced such a beautiful sea view at any resort before. we got the best suit with sea view and balcony. I would rate top marks for everything (food, hospitality, cleanliness, property, ambience)..would love to come again..Highly recommended

While we were there, a programme was going on in the main pool area. There was a lot of noise and disturbance due to this. Our stay was unpleasant. The room we booked could only be reached by climbing 2 flights of stairs which was not mentioned during booking.

Awesome Stay🥰 Such a beautiful property at a beautiful location. Scenic view and all facilities are available. Food was good. Very humble staff and having a great experience in staying.

Firstly I would like to thank Ms Surya from front desk who offered me a warm welcome, brief on the hotel and a great farewell.Secondly I would like to thank Mr.Vivek from Kerela Ayurvedic center who gave me an outstanding rejuvenation treatment which was 5/5. Thirdly I would like to appreciate Mr. Shahin from Catameran restaurant for his warmth and seamless service.

Resort location is perfect overlooking the Kovalam beach. The property and the rooms are beautiful and well maintained. Food is excellent and the staff is very courteous.

I had booked on the impression that the property is a 5 star resort. However, I’m disappointed by the reality. At max, it is a 3/4 star hotel with pool and a few indoor games. The food was good. They don’t have any open space or greenery/ landscaping, this is the biggest letdown. It’s a just a 6 storied building having around 40-50 rooms of various types. We had opted for Arabian ocean view room, which was pathetic. The view is for namesake only. The room was not clean, and the bathroom was stinking. The basic services such as soap/dental kit/shaving kit/slippers etc. were in place. They charge including taxes for ocean view room, which is not justified for what they give you. It was a disappointing stay overall.

Stay was good. And nice view. Food also good. Room was neat and clean. I dont have the time to stay 2nd day.

Not worth the money.....The food- bad, The room- Stincky, The staff - least interested in servicing, Robotic welcome. Either the staff is badly paid or they have a bad boss. Will not recommend to spend so much when there r other options available.

Nice, cozy resort in Kovalam with excellent amenities and food. No direct access to the beach, good place to stay!!

Best location ,beautiful ambience great view scrumptious and delectable and lavished and warm hospitality.

Location: No direct entry to beach from location. Good: Breakfast was okay but some items were salty. Room: I booked via MMT seeing beachview room in pic but it turned out to be just in pic. I got garden view room and the room height was quite low. There was a pillar right in the middle of the room. Was not at all spacious. Bathroom: The water had clogged and we had do call the housekeeping to get it sorted out. Old bathroom. Had to stand on top of bathtub to take the shower. No separate shower space. Staff: All were good and courteous. No complaints there

Really loved the room and the staff behaviour... smiling and happy! The view from the room was beautiful.

Superb stay. Staff are very helpful and courteous. Very clean and neat room. Very near to the beach and has great views of Arabian Sea. Food is ok but pricey.

The sea facing room floor where we stayed was always wet due to humidity and we had to keep room AC at very low temperature always to avoid the issue which was uncomfortable for us. Also, the washroom had smell of bleach when we entered. The bathtub had black spots too. The food at restaurant was excellent and the breakfast spread was great. One good thing is proximity to Kovalam beach which is hardly 5 minute walk. All in all, it was an average stay.
