Poovar Island Resort

Amazing place. Very well maintained island. Best for those who love to stay away from the hustle and bustle of life for a few days. Old style accommodation equipped with all modern amenities. The staff are very helpful and courteous. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous with a respectable spread. Please know that one needs a boat to reach the resort. Free pickup and drop is arranged by the Property itself 24 x 7. All you need is to call the reception once you reach the Parking sites. If you are planning to reach the resort after 5.30 pm, please go to the Parking site 2.

Resort in backwaters near some mangrove forest. Using resort arranged boats from parking lot 1. The security and staff of resort are very helpful in making our stay comfortable throughout our stay. Resort has many beautiful location to take photos and also adventure sports, ayurveda spa etc. The food for breakfast dinner are very good based kerala styles main menus. Cottages are looking like vintage kerala style houses and very nice. We enjoyed our stay in poovar resort.

We had a wonderful stay at Povaar Island Resort’s Floating Cottage. The serene backwater views, peaceful ambiance, and well-maintained cottage made for a truly relaxing experience. The hospitality was warm, and the unique floating stay added a special charm. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those seeking a quiet retreat.

Staying @Poovar Island GOOD experience Family time Kids Time . Nice Food .alloted Room was away from Restaurant needed to walk a lot. Enjoyed at Pool . Kovalam Beach view was fantastic. Needed A ferry boat to reach island.

excellent location, excellent restaurant, average property (could have been much better in terms of maintenance, cleanliness), staff has major language issue. Overall 3.5 to 4 star experience

The location was great, well spread, loved the swimming pool area, breakfast was great, would definitely want to try the sea facing villa property some day. Thank you for the great experience.

In one word it's an awesome property.Nice food , services is also good,superb ambience..Felt the peace of nature..just one thing this property is in between a forest .so be cautious at night..

It’s very beautiful , hidden gem of kerala we forgot our mobile somewhere but somehow they helped us getting it back overall I loved the place wanna visit back for more days

Food, locations are excellent and more importantly its more secure for couples and families. You can find everywhere female workers.

Location is awesome ,you can see the beach also .however the property needs a renovation,the bathrooms are not at all clean

The name says Island resort and it is true to it. Boat travel to the resort sets the tempo.. and once you reach a coconut grove welcomes you. Quiet place to unwind with nature.

Overall the stay was good. The rooms and their balcony views are awesome. Well maintained property. But food was just average.
