If there is one thing which the hotel should avoid, it is denial at the time of check-in.
I booked the hotel and contacted them on WhatsApp 1 day earlier, sent my booking voucher and confirmed the stay. I asked if it is possible for 15 min earlier check-in as I had a meeting from 12:00 onwards. I was told earlier check-in is not possible but the room would be available at 12:00.
Now, at the time of check-in, I was told that the room was booked at a lower price than what they had agreed with Fab hotels, hence they can't allow the check-in unless Fab hotels increase their rate. I told them it is between hotel and Fab, so the customer can't be denied entry. Moreover, I had already what sapped my booking voucher to hotel number and confirmed the stay. I have an important meeting starting soon and can't keep waiting.
In the end, I had to call Fab hotel, who took nearly 20 mins to sort the issue so I had to miss the meeting.
Location: Very interior.
Coming to stay:
The bedsheets were not clean and there were lots of mosquitoes. There were even 🐞on bed. But since they did not come along with me and had already been there, I was not charged for their stay. ;-)
