Review Of Echor | The Koti Village Resort Kufri

Chairs in beautiful balcony you see in property photos? Dont exist. Instead unusable plastic chair. Rooms have no ventilation. You cant open windows because moths and bugs come in. No fan, no a.c. You can request a standing fan but you will have to fight with hotel staff to get one (else they will say they dont have it and you dont need it. They have them but only for guests who fight for it). Towels - white but look black. Thats how dirty and unwashed they are. Only soap and shampoo as toiletries. Sink clogs. Flush barely flushes. Hotel staff is very very rude. If you dare complain, you better be prepared to run for your life. But wait! 3-4 kms area to hotel is no road. Just broken gravel and your car will skid and barely make it out to civilization. Not a family-friendly hotel. Hotel staff is hostile especially their manager. Rampant alcohol and drug activity happening in balconies. Dont travel with kids. Food and water is terrible but also compromised. Check your water bottle seal before accepting. They reuse bisleri bottles to serve RO water - wont mention until you ask why seal is broken. Hotel staff is unhelpful - wont help to park, wont help to get your luggage to your room & out of it. This is their normal behaviour. And if there’s any issue, like for us, they didnt even give us the room key and lied for hours on getting it to us. The ladies staff give impression it was a regular thing so i am assuming last guest were also sold same story on why there’s no key. Remember they dont take responsibility if anything gets stolen but insist on you leaving your luggage unlocked in your room without key. Was so bad we left after day 1, because we feared they may feed us something bad or dangerous and we wouldnt ever leave the place. You know what i mean! Of course, no help from makemytrip and hotel - not even an apology. They kept all our money paid for a 4 days trip.

The access Road to the hotel location is really dengareous..3 KM IS HARD TO DRIVE....FOOD & AMENITIES ARE OK...STAFFS ARE HELPFULL.

the location of the property is little far from kufri but once you reach there it is a very beautiful place. the mountain views from the property are unobstructed and the hotel has a very calm atmosphere. the service is also quit prompt.

Stay was good , peaceful location away from city,excellent food,good service, weather was quite good in dat area

location is good. cottages are ok. but problem was washrooms. no running water in the washrooms. we struggle in the morning to freshen up

My stay at Echor was excellent, the view of nature was awesome Location of Echor was completely unexpected it is located completely separate from trafic and pollution. Perfect place to hangout who is looking for calm and peaceful environment.

Location was really beautiful and rooms were really great. Behaviour hosting was very nice. Food was good. Only there is water issue. There was no water available to flush the entire time we stayed.

Not worth of the money at all . Even basic facilities not Working like Gaeser , Flush , WiFi . Had to take bath with cold water ! Even the door didn’t had a working lock or latch !

beautiful property and excellent service! I would recommend Echor to everyone who is looking for a scenic property with good food. service is excellent and the rooms are good.

Please do not book at this hotel. Road condition during rain is so bad at last patch that it will he very difficult to reach to the hotel. We came back from half way despite of booking 3 rooms and wasted our money as it was non refundable. Though staff is very humble at property they keep on following when we are reaching. Since after booking the hotel also we dint visit because of road condition. So we dont know how resort services are.

It's in koti..not kufri few kms.. beautiful view from cottages..food was good....quite place ......staff was also took care of us and arrange affordable taxi to shimla. overall 10/10
