The Castle Resort, Fagu

I have found the place from internet and also one of my friend visit the resort.food is good and location is also near to NH-05

The property looked nice. The views were pretty but the rooms had no amenities. Room service was a bit slow. The resort looked amazing in the night with lights. The food was average as compared to the high price.

The property is located in a beautiful location, but has issues with cleanliness and food quality.

Its was pleasant stay apart from few glitches such as no hot water by default, parking car is trouble as they call at evening to park the car elsewhere, Internet keeps fluctuating, staff is insensitive to these issues.

It’s fantastic property in this price range having awesome view. Location is also good from there you can visit any where in less time

Room had a great view. Restaurant was grea, open air terrace was a plus. Just one room's floor was squeaky.

Rooms were very dirty, washrooms are extra Small. One of staff (lady Driver) was very Rude. Even after moping the floors, floors were not clean due to excessive dust.

It's a good place to visit with family and you can find peace out there. food is also good and very nice view in the morning windows open to nice apple farm.i hope to visit there again in future

The location of the resort is really good. Rooms are comfortable and the food is really tasty. It's worth visiting.Not to forget the ambience is really good.

I enjoyed my stay at The castle resort it was a excellent experience I loved it the staff was welcoming and friendly the rooms was pretty much clean and food but just amazing .

The property is very nice far away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist attraction points. Food is good but options are very limited, service is slow in the restaurant. they should not offer a food item if they don't have all possible ingredients with them. My experience for Poha is not good. Rooms are spacious and clean. Rooms have a beautiful mountain view to offer. The staff is professional and helpful. Nice hospitality.

The Castle Resort is situated in Fagu. Our experience in the resort was good. The resort is huge and provides a parking facility. The view from this place was awesome. The rooms were cozy and provided all the basic facilities. The only thing which triggered us was that the rooms were set up on different floors and there was no lift facility. It was really difficult for us to climb 30-40 stairs after a long drive along with our luggage. So it is a suggestion to the resort authority to bring a lift facility so that it would be a boon for everyone, staff and the tourists.

Had a comfortable and relaxing stay at the hotel with friendly service. Another aspect that was heartening to see was well trained staff , efficiently taking care of guests.

Stay was excellent worth the price. Food was also good. This hotel has a great view in Winters & even in normal days.

The most one will appreciate this property is its location. Food was tasty and the only part they can improve upon is adding more options in their buffet and a little better service. I had to ask for bread toast with the available option of omelette. The girl handling the buffet was really surprised by my demand for toast along with omelette. Electricity has been a spoiler in between but mostly it was there. The room floor was not clean and I had to get it mopped by the cleaning staff. Rest was good.

All things are perfect Food was expensive though it was fabulous Room amenities bit less However the view was mind-blowing

The view from the property is amazing and the property itself is well maintained. The staff were humble and very helpful. Overall great hospitality. The only downside was the F & B experience. the menu is super over-priced for the quality of food served. we ordered 3 dishes and all of them were sub-standard, not at all at par with the excellent views and the property. They seriously need to rationalise the menu prices and most importantly the quality and taste of food served.
