The hotel is conveniently located right next to the highway, making it easy to find. The premises are clean, the staff is courteous, and the food is quite good. I only ordered food twice during my stay — simple dishes — but they were better than what you'd typically find outside.
That said, I did notice a few things that could be improved:
1. Drinking Water: Drinking water is chargeable, which I understand given the room rate. However, providing complimentary water would make a significant difference in guest experience. Even an expense of ₹100 per day to offer this basic amenity would go a long way.
2. First-Aid Readiness: A family member slipped and injured their knee, and when we requested basic first-aid like an ointment, the hotel staff informed us they didn’t have any. A basic first-aid kit with a pain ointment should be available at any hotel - it’s a small but crucial aspect of guest safety.
3. Hot Water: The hot water system needs improvement. It takes a considerable amount of time for the geyser to heat the water, and once it does, adjusting the temperature is quite tricky — a slight turn of the knob can switch the water from freezing cold to scalding hot. This makes showering a bit of a challenge, especially in colder months. This also causes a lot of water wastage getting it to the right temperature and waiting for it to heat up wastes more water than 2-3 adults would need for a shower.
I might sound a bit particular, but these are basic expectations from any hotel. That said, the overall stay was pleasant and budget-friendly, so I’d still give it a 4 out of 5. Just sharing these thoughts in the hope that a few small changes could make the experience even better for future guests.
